Teacher Appreciation with Merci Chocolates Review + Giveaway

Arctic Zero Icecream Review + Giveaway

Being on a gall bladder diet, along with trying to lose weight can be very hard.  Especially, when I am tempted with commercials, stuff my husband buys at the grocery store, not to mention Pinterest, alone!  That's why it's good to have a reliable alternative on hand.  Something you can grab when you have a craving and something that isn't going to fill you full of a ton of calories!  The problem is trying to find something that satisfies your craving while it's still not packed full of calories.

Oz the Great and Powerful Blu-ray Combo Pack

One of my favorite movies of all times growing up is The Wizard of Oz, by far!  That being said I was more than excited when I first found out about the newest movie based on both The Wizard of Oz movie and the novels by L.  Frank Baum.  I had originally planned on taking my oldest son to see it in theatres,  but never got around to it so I looked forward to reviewing it with all three of my sons.  And, to be honest I was excited to watch it too! 

This fantasy adventure film takes you all the way back to 1905 in Kansas.  Oscar "Oz" Diggs works in a traveling circus as a magician who later escapes in a air balloon after being chased by an angry man,  Just in time, as a storm is quickly approaching!  Before he knows it he is sucked up into the storm and ends up in no other than the great land of Oz!  

And, I am sure you know whats coming next...a witch of course!  When Oz ends of in the land of Oz, Theodora believes that he is there to fulfil the great prophesy and that he is capable of taking on the the wicked witch who had killed the king of Oz. As they head to Emerald City together, they get closer and Theodora ends up falling deeply in love with him and dreaming of some day becoming his queen.  That is shortlived though, thanks toTheodora's sister - Evanora!  Evenora quickly turns Theodora against Oz, which soon makes her turn into something you would never expect!  

Oz is sent to destroy Glinda's wand,  which will in return make him king of Oz.  Along, the way he saves a delicate china doll who insists on coming along with him, after her family were killed by the wicked witch!  Once he finally finds Glinda, everything changes, but will it be for the better? I'm not telling so you will just have to watch to find out!!!

This movie is not only a great watch for children but for teenagers and adults too. I know I myself grew up watching The Wizard of Oz in black and white so it was exciting to watch the new updated version.  My children also enjoyed watching it!  This movie is a must have for any DVD collection!  

I also wanted to share this photo with you. One of my favorite characters just so happened to be the little china girl. The voice is spoken by Joey King.

Playdin Cotton Candy Cutsies and Zip-Itz Review

If you haven't already met Playdin, let me be the very first to introduce you to them! They are the makers of two bright fun toys - Zip-Itz and Cotton Candy Cutsies.  Their mission is to provide customers with inspirational toys and they certainly meet that goal!  These fun toys will have your child's imagination running wild.  

Unlike many other toys, Playdin offers very unique toys that are unlike any others.  Their toys feature fun characters that have fun features that really make them stand out.  I recently received both a Zip-Itz and a Cotton Candy Cutsies to review with my zany children.  I was excited to see which characters I was going to receive.  When they arrived we met Cotton Candy Cutsies Rainbow Cookie and Zip-Itz Zake.  Check out what we thought about each of them below.

Cotton Candy Cutsies Rainbow Cookie - This adorable little character reminds me somewhat of trolls dolls due to it's hair.  If your a child of the 80's-90's then you know exactly what I am talking about.  I have to admit it's one of the best features about it - I love the pretty rainbow colored soft hair.  I also love the bright rainbow pattern on it's body.  If you look under all that hair you might just find a rainbow cookie peeking out!  

Rainbow Cookie is all about just that, and of course saving a little for later too!  Which is evident by all the cookie crumbs around his mouth!  It's body fits perfectly in my children's small hands, making it easy to play with.  This toy is fun, bright, cute, and a bursting with fun!  The Cotton Candy Cutsies are recommended for children 3 years and older.

Cotton Candy Cutesies are available in eleven sweet characters including Birthday Cake Cutsie, Frozen Limeade, and Licorice, just to name a few!  

Zip-Itz - This toy is unique, exciting, and features fun bright colors.  Oh, and did I mention it offers educational value too!  That's because it offers four zip functions to teach your children how to zip and unzip. It's cute star pull zip and bright rainbow zipper makes learning to zipper fun for children.  My children enjoyed zipping it up and down to reveal fun plush prints. Not to mention, it's cute features such as it's silly face and funky prints.  

Zip-Itz are available in many exciting characters, all of which have their very own personalities.  We received Zeke who is an overall happy camper. He of course enjoys camping, but also likes ketchup, and studying animal species in the jungles of Zagland.

Help keep yourself shielded from the sun with a hat from Dorfman Pacific

Many of you may not know this, but my daughter was born within a month and a half of my great niece.  As you can imagine it makes it nice for play dates and family fun time together.  It's been a long time since we have added any girls to our family, so it's nice to have girls in the family again.  And, as you can imagine we are having lots of fun playing dress up!
