My three and five year old sons enjoy watching Octonauts because it is a fun show, while I appreciate the fact that it is educational. It teaches them all about marine life, as the Octonauts explore deep sea life in their cute little submarine. The kids really cracked up at the sound of the urchin and crabs voice, which was hysterical to say the least. Oh, and did I mention that each episode features a recap song at the end of the episode, which my youngest son loves!

CAPTAIN BARNACLES BEAR
A brave polar bear extraordinaire and the leader of the Octonauts crew. He's always the first to rush in and help whenever there's a problem.
KWAZII KITTEN
A daredevil orange kitten with a mysterious pirate past. He loves excitement and travelling to exotic places.
PESO PENGUIN

ReplyDeleteMy 6 years old and 23 months old liked to watched Octonauts, it is fun and educational and they are really learning a lot from watching it.
ReplyDeleteThis show wasn't around when my kids were younger, but I think they would have really enjoyed it, especially the kitten character.

ReplyDeleteSounds like a great dvd for kids-I love it teaches them a bit about sea life (I do have an Environmental Sci degree after all) while they are enjoying themselves-the only way to truly learn!
