What child wouldn't love a soft plush customizable teddy bear for Valentine's? That's exactly what I will be giving my daughter this year on Valentine's thanks to CustomizedGirl.com. They generously provided me with a twenty-five dollar gift card, which was just enough to order the bear and even pay for shipping fees too!
The best part about the Be Mine Julie Customizable Teddy Bear is that you can customize it to your perfection. The original photo shows a brown colored bear, but I wanted something a tad bit more girly to fit my Valentine's themed bear, so I was able to select the White Teddy Bear instead. After changing the color, I was given an option to select text and font for the tee-shirt message. I personalized the tee-shirt to read "Daddy Is My Valentine" in fun Disney-looking font. For an additional fee you may choose to add an image to the front and or backside of the bear, which I did not do.
You can view the changes to your bear as you go, so you can play around a bit with it, to see what you like best. After I had perfected my bear to my liking, I went ahead and ordered it. When the bear arrived, I opened it up to find an 8 inch bear sporting a tee-shirt which looked exactly as I had designed it on the website, if not better! The bear is super soft and perfect for nap time snuggles with my daughter. Plus, it will be a keepsake that she can cherish forever. Right now, she is in love with the soft teddy bear, but I am sure as years go by she will appreciate the message on the shirt. Afterall, daddy really is her Valentine! XOXO
Just because you finish personalizing the bear on their website doesn't mean you can't continue to personalize it after you have received it. I added a Valentine's hair clip on one of the bears ears to make it even more girly. A cute little bow glued on it's head, or even hair ties on it's wrists would add to it's cuteness! Never the less, it's also cute just as it is. For you teenager boys or men that are ordering them for women, a special way to go above and beyond personalizing the bear, is to add a spritz or two of your favorite cologne to it.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great gift idea! I am a total daddy's girl and for years my dad was my valentine as well. In fact he still is. I love the picture with your little lady by herself and the one with her dad. How adorable! You can tell they are two peas in a pod.
