OUR MOUSTASTIC PARTY EXPERIENCE WITH ISN'T SHE CUTE: 
If your planning a Mickey or Minnie Mouse party,  why not trade traditional plain party hats for something extraordinary - Minnie or Mickey Mouse Ear Headbands from Isn'tshecute!  

We received (5) Mickey Mouse Ear Headbands and (5) Sparkle Minnie Mouse Ear Headbands.  During the party, the guests had fun showing off their #DisneySide by wearing the fun headbands.  It instantly transformed each guest into Minnie and Mickey look alikes, and even some of the adults joined in on the fun.  The guests enjoyed wearing them during the party and looked forward to taking them home afterward.  

There are several choices when it comes to the Minnie Headbands including:
Bow Options - Red/White Polka Dots, Pink/White Polka Dots
Sparkle Minnie Ear Options - Black, Red, or Pink

Each headband is precisely constructed using a steel die cut machine to perfectly cut the ears.  The ears and Minnie's bow is attached to a black plastic headband.  It measures 14 1/2" from end to end, which is small enough to fit a toddler and large enough to fit an adult.

TheGirlNXTdoor offers birthday,  wedding, and baby shower decorations to add a bit of uniqueness to any party. The owner (Tawnya) began selling on Etsy after guests who attended her decorated parties suggested that she should sell her decorations for a  living.  So she took their advice and began selling on Etsy, which has enabled her to be a stay at home mother to her two handsome sons.  She continues to expand her creativity through her products. While TheGirlNXTdoor specializes in Mickey and Minnie themes, she also offers a couple other themes, as well. She is always open to other themes too, so feel free to contact her with custom request orders.  

OUR MOUSTASTIC PARTY EXPERIENCE WITH THEGIRLNXTDOOR: 
Being that I have four children, I host a lot of birthday parties. With that being said, I know that centerpieces are a must have for any party. For many people their main choice is the paper centerpieces that you can purchase at just about every store. The only issue is that they aren't very decorative and usually fall apart easily. Why not spruce up your next party with a creative centerpiece from TheGirlNXTdoor!  

For the party, we received a Minnie Mouse Birthday Decoration Centerpiece and a Mickey Mouse Birthday Decoration Centerpiece. The centerpiece toppers for the centerpiece was packaged separately in the box, so I simply stuck the centerpiece toppers into the centerpiece pails, as I arranged them to my perfection. I did not include the topper that read "1", since it was not for a first birthday party, so you will not see it pictured in the photos.

The centerpieces proved to be fun decorations for the party.  The children at the party really seemed to be excited by the festive Minnie and Mickey themed centerpieces. During the party, we placed them on the table, so they could be the center of attention.  I let each child keep their centerpiece after the party.

I originally contacted KBettega about reviewing favor tags. So as you can imagine,  I was quite excited to learn that I would be receiving ten candy favor tubes with attached tags.  Inside each "test tube" was shimmery colored pink and white Sixlets. They perfectly matched the Minnie themed tags,  which were attached by pretty pink ribbon. The candy favors fit perfectly in the goodie bags at the party, but would have been cute to display during the party too. The kids were excited to find the Minnie candy favors in their goodie bags.

Sending guests home with special treat bags is always a must for any party that I host. Because I try to stick with party themes as much as possible, it was very important to me that I incorporated the Mickey and Minnie theme into the treat bags. Luckily, AZCustomCreations helped me do just that!  

Each Minnie or Mickey treat bag is only a dollar each, and is available in several charter/color options:

• Mickey Mouse 
• Minnie Mouse (Red)
• Minnie Mouse (Pink)
• Custom 

Each treat bag measures approximately  9 1/2" x 5", which provided plenty of room to fill with an assortment of favors and treats. During the party, they set pretty on the table and afterward each guest took one home with them.  I can't begin to tell you how excited the kids were to see all of the cute little Minnie and Mickey Treat Bags all lined up, and even more excited to take them home!

Crystal Casteel is the lovely owner and designer of all the crafty items sold on CreationsByCC1.  She was inspired by a frugal attitude and wanted to provide her children with things she normally couldn't afford. After being asked by her son's teacher to purchase some of her soaps, along with receiving inspiring words about her items from others, she decided to open up her shop to offer everyone a chance to purchase her items, at an affordable price for just about everyone's budget. 

OUR MOUSTASTIC PARTY EXPERIENCE WITH CreationsByCC1: 
We received quite a few items from CreationsByCC1 including an assortment of fun soaps. Keeping with our "Moustastic" theme, she sent us Mini Mickey Head Party Favor Bag filled full of soaps, Large Mickey Head Soap Favor, and a Cupcake Soap. It was fun ordering the soaps because I was able to customize them to our liking by selecting the scents, characters, colors, and curling ribbon. We chose fun kid scented scents for the soaps including Bubble Gum, Cotton Candy, and Apple Pie, all of which smelled good enough to eat! The birthday girl received the Minnie Mouse Cupcake Soap, the birthday boy received the Large Mickey Head Soap Favor, and my kids enjoyed all of the small Mickey Head Favor Soaps that we received in the favor bag.

Portion Control Plate

To help support my New Years resolution, I have another great review for all of you out there who is either trying to become more healthy, or those of you who are trying to maintain your healthy eating habits! 

Have you ever wondered how much your serving sizes should be on your plate? The Portion Control Plate answers exactly that, in a hands-on way! The Portion Control Plate is actually a tool used to measure the exact amount of servings you should serve on your plate. Each plate tool includes four sections, one for each: Protein, Fruit, Vegetables, and Starch. It is easily compatible with most portion control diets.

How to use the Portion Control Plate:

1. Wash before use
2. Place Meal Measure on your own 
3. Fill the portions based on your diet
4. Lift Meal Measure off plate and food will be in correct portions

I have often wondered how much my serving sizes should be. After receiving the Portion Control Plate, it has become obvious to me that I was totally off on my serving sizes. But now that I have been using the Portion Control Plate my servings are exact each time. You can choose to use the half cup servings (up to the  middle line) or the complete cavity, which equals a full cup. I tend to vary the servings depending upon what I am serving for dinner, but I usually stick to half a cup. Oh, and did I mention that by using the Portion Control Plate, it perfectly plates my food and looks so organized, instead of messy.

Pinwheels make excellent party favors and also great centerpieces too. For our party, we decided to use them as special goodie bag fillers, which perfectly peeked out the top of each favor bag. The pinwheels are perfectly crafted out of acid and lignin free paper, wooden dowel, sewing pin, and washi tape. Each pinwheel measures just over 12 inches, making them the perfect size. The little Mickey shape in the middle of the pinwheel adds to the creativity that is written all over these adorable little pinwheels. The kids at the party had a blast playing with them during the party.

#DisneySide @HomeCelebration

I never grew out of Disney, Disney grew with me. As soon as you cross the arch, all your cares just seems to disappear. Disney to me is like a time machine back to the past. Each time I read my children a Disney Story or watch a Disney movie with them, it takes me back to a time when everything was magical, and for them everything is still magical. There's no worries, as their imagination runs wild with thoughts of innocence. Disney is still magical for me too because it takes me back to an innocent time in my life, just as it does my children today.


You know how sometimes a certain scent can instantly remind you of someone or a fond memory. Well, that's exactly what does Disney does for me! But it's not just one memory, it's the feeling of being young again, something magical that will imprint in your heart for the rest of your life.

DisneyLand is known for being referred to as "The Happiest Place On Earth", and for good reason! Visiting DisneyLand is like going into Sensory overload! The kids love watching Disney movies, dressing up in Disney Costumes, and exploring new Disney characters.  That being said, imagine how excited we were when we found out we were selected to host a #DisneySide @HomeCelebration!

You will find we received a variety of Mickey and Friends themed items including tablewear, decorations, and even favors. In addition to the fun party pack, I also purchased a few items, and also hosted a "Moustastic Event" to get cool stuff for our party including lots of unique items. Due to unexpected circumstances, we had to reschedule our party, but I am happy to announce we hosted it this past week. 

The party was planned to celebrate not only our #DisneySide, but my twin niece and nephews birthday too. Because after all, what's more magical than a Disney birthday!  We decided to go with a Minnie and Mickey theme, which was appropriate because the twins are a boy and a girl.   Our party was a huge success and all the kids had a blast. Honestly, how adorable was my daughter!  For the party, I dressed my daughter in the cutest little Minnie dress, complete with matching accessories, thanks to some awesome Etsy shops!

We used the Disney bands included in the party pack to tie to some favor bags filled with Minnie candy. Then, we dropped them inside of Minnie and Mickey goodie bags filled with soaps, candy, stickers, necklaces, tattoos, Craisins, and more! Each children went home with a special goodie bag.

I was excited to see everything from lip tint to refirming eye treatments and I couldn't wait to share them with all of my party guests.  I placed all of the items in goodie bags, except for the powder illuminator and the lip soothers.  That way we could try WEI EAST during the party, and my guest could go home with WEI EAST afterward.
Sometimes pampering yourself means making yourself feel pretty too.  Instead of painting yourself like a crayola crayon, it is best to use natural products, such as the items we used during our party. We used the Natural Beauty Protector Powder Illuminator to highlight our cheekbones. We all agreed that it was very easy to put on and felt very silky as we applied it.  The illuminator left us with a natural looking glow, which is just what we needed to give us the feeling of beauty during our party. In addition to the illuminator, we also applied White Olive Tinted Lip Smoother which left our lips feeling nice and smooth. Not to mention, it provided our lips with just the perfect amount of shine and tint.

The Book Thief Giveaway

I use to really enjoy reading books, I actually still do, it's just I usually don't have time to read much. That being said, "THE BOOK THIEF" is available both as a book and as a movie. Because I am usually on a strict time schedule, watching movies just seems to fit better in my life. That is why I was excited that The Book Thief was being released in movie format.

When her mother can no longer care for her, Liesel  is adopted by a German couple. Although she arrives illiterate, Liesel is encouraged to learn to read by her adoptive father. When the couple then takes in Max, a Jew hiding from Hitler’s army, Liesel befriends him. Ultimately, words and imagination provide the friends with an escape from the events unfolding around them in this extraordinary, acclaimed film directed by Brian Percival.
