When I was younger I enjoyed drinking whiskey and cognac, but now that I am older I perfer a nice glass of wine. So, of course when Flip Flop Wines agreed to let me review their products I was thrilled! At first I couldnt figure out why they named their wine business after a pair of flip flips, that was until I tried them out! Just like a pair of flip flops bring comfort to your feet, Flip Flop Wine bring comfort to your pallette! I dont always drink wine actually I only drink it occasionally, but when I do I like to relax with a nice glass of wine.
Flip Flop Wines sent me three bottle of wine to review including:
- Pinot Grigio
- Riesling
- Pinot Noir
Not only do I enjoy drinking wine, but I also enjoy cooking with wine. I chose to use the Pinot Grigio and the Pinot Noir in a couple of recipes. I used the Pinot Grigio in the my Spaghetti and it really gave it a pleasent added flavor. The next day I decided to use the Pinot Noir in Chocolate Chip Cookies. I did not add that much, but it really seemed to give it a lil extra "bite" to it! You can purchase a 100 mL bottle for only $7.00, making it a very inexpensive yet fun wine. I love the design of the label on the bottle, along with it's catchy name! You can purchase Flip Flop Wines on their website.
Flip Flop wines and Underdog Wine Merchants have partenered with Soles4Souls to provide barefoot children with shoes, sometimes even their first pair of shoes! Shoes are a major neccessity but did you know there are many children that go with out? Many children that have never even wore a pair of shoes? And did you know that makes them very succeptible to parastitic diseases? Just a simple pair of shoes can help prevent children from getting parastitic diseases such as hookworm and threadworm! For every bottle of Flip Flop Wine purchased they generously donate a pair of shoes to someone in need!
*Disclaimer- Flip Flop Wines provided me with three bottle of wine to review. In no way did this alter my opinon of their products. All of my opinions are one hundred percent honest and true.*
