Pur Gum Giveaway

When I was younger you probably didn't ever see me without a piece of gum in my mouth and my oldest son is the exact same way!  He always has a piece of gum in his mouth and when I take away his gum,  he somehow sneaks more gum,  I'm starting to think his grandma is sneaking it to him!  The thought of all that sugar and chemicals constantly swishing around in his mouth makes me cringe.  I recently found a brand of gum that offers aspartame free chewing gum.  Wondering what is so good about that? 

Well,  Aspartame is a man made sweetener that unfortunately has been linked to many disease.  In fact,  the FDA has listed 92 confirmed symptoms of Aspartame poisoning.  Pretty scary, huh!  It's nice to know that Pur Gum does not contain any Aspartame in it.  Pur Gum instead uses xylitol a natural occurring sugar alcohol found in corn cobs and stalks, which is much more healthier than using Aspartame.

 Xylitol has actually been found to aid in digestion and help prevent tooth decay.  That makes me so much more comfortable with my son chewing gum knowing that it is not going to affect the health of his teeth and if it does it's in a good way!  That alone could not make me happier!   I love everything about this gum!  It is infused with antioxidants,  naturally coloured and flavored,  vegan friendly,  gluten free,  and free of genetically modified organisms (GMO). 

Wondering exactly what Pur Gum consists of?  Xylitol,  Gum base,  Natural Flavors,  Gum Arabic,  White Tea Extract,  Carnauba Wax,  and Tocopherois.  Compared to other gums that is not very much at all,  it is actually about half as what is found in other gums.  Pur gum is safe for everyone including expectant mothers.  If you are vegan or a vegetarian,  have no fears,  it is also vegan/vegetarian friendly and certified by their manufacturer.  For those of you with food allergies,  rest assured that Pur gum is non genetically modified. 

Pur Gum sent me three packs of their chewing gum including Spearmint,  Peppermint,  and Pomegranate Mint.  I did not have an opportunity to try it,  but they also offer a new flavor called Excitemint.   I would have to say I was most excited about trying the Pomegranate Mint flavor because it is such an uncommon flavor.  I always like to try new flavors and their was no exception to this one!  It tasted  minty with a slight fruity burst to it.  I actually liked all the flavors and the flavor lasted quite a while too!  I love this gum because my son can chew it without me feeling guilty.
