KIDZ + MED VeraTemp Thermometer

I was recently received  a KIDS + MED VeraTemp Thermometer to review and let me tell you it couldnt have come in at a better time because a couple days later my son was sick.  My my oldest son(whos in the 2nd grade) is always bringing home nasty germs from school and to be honest with you I'm beginning to thing that he stays sick!  Fall is in full swing and Winter's just around the corner and along with Fall and Winter weather comes all the nasty germs and along with the germs comes fevers.  That is where the VeraTemp theremometer comes into action.

The KIDZ + MED VeraTemp theremometer definently isnt your average thermometer!  I am sure all of you mommies has had trouble at some time or another trying to take your little ones temp,  well you certainly wont have to worry about that if you are using a VeraTemp thermometer.  This is because it is a 5-in-1 non contact thermometer.  It is a hand held thermometer that is battery opporated,  used to measure the intermittent temperature of people of all ages - from young to old.  This awesome thermometer works by measuring the enfrared energy emitted from the skin surface for the forehead .   Because of this there is no need for any contact whatsoever with the skin.

Using the KIDZ + MED VeraTemp is super easy and requires little effort.  First make sure it is set on the body setting.  Then,  Simply hold the thermometer about 2-3 inches away from the forehead and push the scan button.  Instantly the termperature will be displayed.  The background screen will display one of three colors: Green,  Orange,  or Red.  This will let you know what range the temperature is in.   If the temperature is out of range it will either read "Too High" or "Too Low".  To get an idea of what I mean check out the list below.

GREEN:  Between 97.3 Degrees F. and 99.1 Degrees F.

ORANGE: Between 99.3 Degrees F. and 100.2 F.

RED: Greater than 100.4 Degrees F.

Some other things you should know about the Theremometer is:
  • The thermometer includes 2 AAA Batteries required to opporate the thermometer.
  • It automatically shuts off when not in use to prolong battery life.
  • The last 32 readings are automatically stored in memory.
  • It's LCD screen makes it easy to see in a dark room.
  • It fits perfectly in your hand for convenience.
  • Pediatrition recommended.
  • Clinically accurate.
  • Illuminated,  Easy to read display.
When I used it on my sons forehead,  it instantly read 100.1 Degrees F.,  and displayed an orange screen in the background.  I so wish I had one of these back when I first started having children because it is super easy to use and I have struggled so many times with taking temperatures.  This thermometer is perfect when dealing with babies,  young children, and even adults.  With all that being said, guess what?  It gets even better! Not only can you use it to scan human body temperatures, you can also use it to scan bottle temperatures, bath temperatures, food temperature, or objects.

I am definently sold on this product for life!  I have used many different types of theremometers in the past but this one is by far my favorite and I am sure if you give it a chance it will be your favorite too!  I highly recomend this product to anyone with children.

How great this would be for the little ones. Things have become so much easier. When my Daughter was a baby we had to hold her down to stick a thermomter up her butt. Sometimes we would do it under the arm but that wasn't as accurate.
