Mr. Popper's Penguins Available on December 6th!

 As a family of five,  we are always in search of a great family movie that can be enjoyed by our entire family and we sure found it in Mr, Popper's Poppers.  I remember seeing the previews for it on T.V. and thought it looked like a movie my family would enjoy,  and I couldnt have been more right!  I have always been a fan of Jim Carrey,  so it excited me to see that he stars in this hilarious yet heartwarming film. 

In this hysterical film,  Jim Carrey (Mr. Popper) stars as a successful business man that lives in a swanky Down Town New York Apartment.  That is until the upscale apartment is transformed into a winter wonderland for his twelve penguins!  Mr Popper's is a divorced with two kids,  which he has a somewhat rocky relationship with,  until the penguins come along!  So when he receives the penguins as a gift from his late father his kids couldn't be more excited. 

As he grows closer to the penguins,  he also grows closer to his two children- a daughter played by Madelline Carroll and a son played by Clark Gregg. He also seems to grow closer to his ex wife played by Carla Gugino.  For a divorced couple I thought they got along quite well.  Soon Mr. Poppers realizes that he has been missing out on the most important things in life.

You probably do not know this but Mr Popper's Penguins is based on a novel that was originally published in 1938.  Throughout the generations Mr Popper's Penguins has remained a classic and can even be found in elementary classrooms till this very day! 

Mr. Popper's Penguins would make a great gift for the holidays or a great addition to your DVD collection.  It is a perfect movie for the holidays and to watch as a family.  It definetly made me laugh out loud,  which I must say doesn't happen that often when I watch movies.  You can purchase this heartfelt humurous movie on Blu-ray,  DVD,  and Digital Download.  Specially for the holidays they are also offering a Mr. Popper's Penguins DVD + TY Penguin Plush Set.
