MY TAKE:  I was instantly excited about watching this movie by the major stars alone.  I have always been a huge fan of Brad Pitt,  and I know Sean Penn is a fabulous actor,  so I knew it would be a movie that could keep my interest.  Brad Pitt and Sean Penn is also some of my husbands favorite actors,  so we decided to stay up and watch it while the children went to bed.  It turned out to be one of those movies that you have to pay close attention to,  so you don't miss anything.  Jack the young boy is played by Sean Penn,  while the father is played by Brad Pitt.  It takes you all the way back to a midwestern family in the 1950's.

This intriguing movie kept my attention the entire movie until the very end.  I didnt even want to get up to get a drink of water it was so interesting.  I think it was somewhat complicated too,  but if you follow it closly you will really understand it. The movie itslelf is somewhat longer than the usual,  but the longer they are,  the more entertainment time you get out of them,  so I was very happy with the 2 hours and 19 minutes that it aired for.

BUY IT:  This movie will become available beginning October 11th.
