P.F. Chang's Year of the Dragon + Giveaway

I am happy to announce that you can now have all the delicious food from P.F.Chang's right in the comfort of your very own home with P.F. Chang's Home Menu noodle entrees!  From your freezer to your stove,  and done in no time P.F. Chang's frozen dinner entrees for two are easy to prepare,  convenient,  and best of all delicious!  Think along the lines of bringing restarant quality chinese food to your very own kitchen table without having to leave your house or order in!

P.F. Chang's recently provided me with a Red Evenvelope kit to help bring in the Chinese New Year. The kit included two tasty P.F. Chang's Home Menu meals,  2 "year of the dragon" tee shirts, Chinese Calendar,  2 fun Chinese lanterns,  along with a red envelope filled with a gift. I was quite excited to receive both the Grilled Chicken Teriyaki with Lo Mein Noodles  Firecracker Shrimp with Yakisoba Noodles because I have tried a couple of their varieties but this was the first time trying these two particular flavors.

The Chinese New Year is one of the most important Chinese celebrations because it symbolizes peace,  happiness,  prosperity,  and longevity.  To celebrate the Chinese New Years which takes place on January 22nd,  my family and I decided to participate by throwing a little celebration of our own.  So we hung up both of the red Chinese lanterns,  prepared both the P.F. Chang's Home Menu Meals,  and pulled out the red envelope.

We sat down to a table filled with yummy Chinese food,  and not just any Chinese food...P.F. Chang's!  The Firecracker Shrimp was my overall favorite as it was lightly battered with and covered in an out of this world spicy flavored sauce...mmm!  The Grilled Chicken Teriyake was very tasty as well.  It provided a perfect blend of tender grilled chicken covered in a sweet teriyake sauce and mixed with pineapples,  red bell peppers,  onions on a bed of lo mein noodles.

We left the red envelope for last because it is a special Chinese tradition that is said to help share good fortune.  We gave it to my brother because he visits P.F. I wanted to keep it for myself,  but keeping with the tradition I decided to give it to one of my family members - my brother.   He visits P.F. Chang's on a regular basis so I knew he would especially appreciate it.  As he opened it up he found a $10 P.F. Chang's gift card staring at him along with a coupon good for any one free P.F. Chang's Menu Meal and lucky for all of you he decided to let me keep the coupon to give to one of my lucky readers as he wanted to share in the Chinese tradition of spreading good futune!

To help celebrate the Chinese New Years and spread and share a little bit of luck with everyone P.F. Chang's is launching a facebook giveaway for the chance to win a daily dragon prize which includes a $25 P.F. Chang's gift card or a tasting certificate for a complimentary P.F. Chang's Home Menu Meal  plus a dragon shirt!  Each day ten winners will randomly win the daily dragon prize plus each day you enter you will receive your daily fortune.  This giveaway will begin January 23rd and end on February 12, 2012 at 12:00 PM Eastern.

Plus,  visit P.F. Chang's now through February 6, 2012 to receive a special red envelope of your own to receive up to 50 percent off your bill or a free appetizer or dessert!

*Disclaimer - I received the Red Envelope Kit and all the contents mentioned above in exchange for this post.  In no way did this alter my opinion of their products.  All of my opinions are one hundred percent honest and true.*
