ABOUT:
Disney out does themselves again with this fun and entertaining film! Sarah Hyland stars as Dylan Schoenfield and Josh Rosen plays Matt Prokop. Dylan is a popular character that is spoiled while Josh is just the opposite - nerdy and is poor. Put it this way - She drives a porsh and he drives a broken down bucket! There two lives come colliding together when Dylan accidently drops her expensive hand bag into a fountain and Josh quickly comes to her rescue. But...he had an enterior motive behind helping her out, he wants her to star as the subject of his documentary. Being that she thinks it will help her out campaign for blossom queen she quickly accepts. Josh originally sets out to expose her life as a stuck up popular girl but soon realizes there is much more to her than just popularity and that she is much more interesting than he originally thought.
OUR THOUGHTS:
The three key points that this movie covers is self comfidence, respect, and denouncing stereotypes, all three very important values when it comes to teenagers. Overall this movie was well written and was able to keep our attention the entire movie. I watched it with my niece who just happens to be eleven and she enjoyed it very much. This movie also came with a special collectible charm set that especially excited my niece. I think it is perfect for preteen and teenage girls and boys.
