Mari Winsor: Lower Body Pilates

Available March 6, 2012

When it came to pilates I had heard of it,  but never seen or tried it until I received the Mari Winsor: Lower Body Pilates screener to review.   I have recently been using the Rhythmica dance workout DVD and am really starting to get use to the whole workout routine, so I thought it would be a good time to introduce pilates to my workout.

In this DVD Master Pilates instructor Mari Winsor focuses on areas that fans have requested the most: thighs,  gluts,  and of course hips!    Her workout is guaranteed to lengthen,  strengthen,  and tone trouble areas resulting in a more fit looking body.

The Workout DVD is broken down into three sections each lasting twenty minutes each.
  1. Slim & Sculpt Hip Workout - Slim your waistline with this workout.
  2. Trim & Tone Thigh Workout - lengthen and tighten your thigh muscles with this power session.
  3. Lift & Sculpt Glut Workout - Firm, Lift, and Shape your backside with this workout session.
I have been doing this workout now for a couple weeks and it is absolutely amazing! It really gives me a good workout and it gets my muscles burning.  I find the Pilates exercises to actually be quite relaxing compared to other workout videos.  Many of the routines are done on the floor.  This workout video really introduced me to other forms of workouts and I really like it.  I also like the fast paced workout routine of Rhythmica,  so I have been alternating them day by day to give me a little bit of variety.  My muscles are already beginning to feel much tighter and I can't wait to start seeing the results.
