SmartLab Toys Review + Giveaway

SPRING INTO SPRING  EVENT

Looking for fun and educational toys to keep your children entertained this Spring?  Well then look no further because SmartLab Toys offers everything your child will need to do just that.  From art and craft kits, to science toys, robotics, and 3D puzzles - you will find it on SmartLab Toys.

Last year I was given the wonderful opportunity of review their ReCon 6.0 Programmable Rover which turned out to be one of my son's favorite toys and still is today.  For this review I received a You-Build-It RoboXplorer to review with my oldest son, since it's recommended for children ages 7 and older(my oldest is eight).  Not only do you get to put it together but you get to play with it afterward, now what child wouldn't enjoy that! The You-Build-It RoboXplorer is perfect for any boy, including mine!

Basically the RoboXplorer is a kit that your child can put together to create a multiterrain robotic vehicle.  But it's not just any robotic vehicle it is actually built to withstand some of the toughest terrain including rocks, grass, and sand.  Besides using it on outdoor terrain you may also use it on tough indoor terrain like stacks of books and towing toy cars.   No matter if your child used it indoor, outdoor, or both he is sure to have a blast!

The You-Build-It RoboXplorer:
  • Received Winner of the Creative Child Preferred Choice Award
  • Takes 3 AAA batteries (not included)
  • Recommended for ages 7+
  • Comes with a 16 page booklet
My son sat down with his grandpa and together they put together the RoboXplorer,  which made for some good quality time together. The kit comes complete with 32 parts that easily snap together, a gearbox, and a very helpful booklet and lab journal to help understand and track the RoboX's performance.  Within no time they put it together and it was ready to be played with.  It crawled across the floor with it's unique wheels.   Next, he decided to take it outside for a test drive and had a ton of fun while it went over grass, hills, and right into the lounge chair!  It makes  for an excellent outdoor toy to play with during Spring and Summer months and a great indoor toy for Fall and Winter months.

Besides the RoboXplorer they also offer many other fun kits for both boys and girls.  Some of their other kits directed toward boys include: Bug Playground, Robo Bug,Car Design, and many more.  Don't forget to check out their selection of fun kits for girls too including All Natural Spa Lab, Snap Fashion Jewelry, Cupcake Decorating Studio, and many other fun girly kits.
