Ugly Ted

Today I have the wonderful opportunity of introducing you to the newest Anti-Bullying Advocate...Ugly Ted!  Ugly Ted was created to teach children the importance of treating everyone equally no matter what they look like or where they are from.  After all you know how cruel children can be to each other so it's nice to have such a unique little teacher such as Ted.  Ugly Ted is a teddy bear but not your average teddy bear in any way.  He may not be perfect on the outside but he sure is perfect on the inside!

Ugly Ted teaches inner beauty instead of outer beauty that teaches beauty comes within.  Did you know that today over half of adolesents and teens have bullied others or have been bullied by others?  That is why Ugly Ted is so important to our youth.  Ugly Ted donates a portion of it's proceeds to numerous charities related to children,  bullying,  and health related issues.

Along with Ugly Ted an illustrated book series called Adventures of Ugly Ted is also available.  Be on the look out for many other characters in the book series that will soon be available in stuffed animals.

Meet the Creator:
Ugly Ted was invented by Mark Little who produces cars for the Toyota Manufacturer.

My Review:
My children enjoyed playing with Ugly Ted even though he was ugly they did not mind.  Actually,  Ugly Ted is so ugly he is actually rather cute!   With two different sized ears,  a lopsided mouth,  and off set nose,  and big teeth he certainly isn't the cutest but he really does put a smile on your face.  I talked a little bit with my kids about the importance of inner beauty and that Ugly Ted has lots of inner beauty.  My three year old hugs it and says "I Love My Ugly Ted".

BUY IT: You can purchase Ugly Ted for only $16.99.  Tie accessories are available for an extra $3.00.
