Summer Event - SmileBooks Review + Giveaway

This Summer why not create a fun summer book of all your fun summer photos that caption past Summer Memories!

Purchase a photobook from SmileBooks and you will find out why they are named SmileBooks!  Every time I look at my Smile Book it puts a huge smile on my face, and everyone else that looks at it for that matter!  Not only do they offer photo books but they also offer greeting cards and calendars too.  No matter what product you receive from them it is sure to put a smile on your face.

I worked with SmileBooks once before on a photo book review and I occasionally pull it out to look at it.  Who would have thought a year later and it still puts a smile on my face!  It is one of my treasured books,  and on top of that is always a number one conversation starter.  I can't begin to tell you how excited I was when I found out I would have another opportunity to review one of their photo books!

When it comes to your photo book you have three different choices:

  1. Download their FREE software and within only minutes you will be able to begin creating your beautiful photo book.
  2. Use their online design service so all you have to do is upload your photos and the designer does all the work for you.  Of course, you will be able to review and approve it before you order.
  3. Create your photo book online and you won't be required to download anything.

Although, I wanted to make things a little easier on myself by selecting the design service I planned on doing certain themed pages,  so I figured it was best if I just chose to create my photo book online. As you can imagine each option has it's pro's and cons,  so choose what best suits your situation. I chose the hard cover book because it is much more durable than the soft cover book.  I then had the option  of choosing four different sizes, but ended up selecting the classic size which measures 8 x 11".  For the title I chose to put "Family" since it would fit perfectly with all the photos in the book.

I began by uploading photos which remain on their site for 30 days.  Once all my photos were uploaded which took quite some time,  Yes...it takes quite a while to create a photo book,  but it is so worth it.  And, you can create it at your own speed.  I then started the design process.  It allows you to choose which layout you would like for each page and once you arrange your photos you can then start adding backgrounds and even clip art.  I had a lot of fun experimenting with different backgrounds to match each page and the fun playful clip art.  Also, I included extra pages because I still had photos I wanted to add.  There is a charge for each additional page added to your photo book.

Once my book was created I was able to go back through it and edit it accordingly. After editing it was time to place my order! I'm not gunna lie I was so excited about my order that I couldn't wait to receive it.  I previewed it a few times before receiving it and was even able to share it on my social media sites,  so my friends and family could get a sneak peek at it.  When I received the book it was everything I thought it would be and more!  I have been taking it to all my family members houses to show it off and everyone is always jelouse of my fabulous photo book from SmileBooks.com!

**Note the pictures in this post are distorted thanks to my camera.  The actual photos in my smilebook are perfectly clear, unlike what the pictures look like on this post.**

I am not quiet sure what I would choose. I think I would let my daughter pick it out to make a gift for her dad. I like the Portrait Professional.
