Taste of Home CookBook

My late grandfather use to buy me gift subscriptions to Taste of Home and I was always excited to read the next issue,  so when I was offered to review a Taste of Home Cook book of course I jumped at the offer.  I aniticipated it would be a pretty spectacular cookbook and it sure is!

The Taste of Home Cooking School COOKBOOK contains over 400 simple to super impressive recipes.  It also includes Step-by-Step instructions and expert advice.  This special cookbook brings cooking school straight to your house!  All of the recipes included in this book has been specially tested and selected by Taste of Home.

As I flipped through the pages I realized this was going to be one of those cookbooks that is packed full of recipes you will want to make!  It wasn't long until my mouth was watering!  I mean how couldn't it with recipes like Taco Lasagna,  Greek Roasted Chicken and Potatoes, Cola Barbecued Chicken, Portabello Spaghetti Casserole, Ranch Pasta Salad,  Mallow Sweet Potato Bake, and many many more!  I plan on making the Sparkling Strawberry Lemonade to serve at my baby shower.

This cookbook offers a wide selection of categories including dips, beverages, appetizers, soups, side dishes, desserts and much much more!  You will find that each recipe includes a photo.  I really like this because it gives me a good picture as to how the end result should look like.   You certainly won't need a cooking instructor if you purchase this book!

Catherine M. Cassidy is the editor of chief of Taste of Home.
