Remember watching Babar as a kid?  I sure do!   How could I forget the cute little family of lovable elephants including the one and only Babar!  Babar began as a book and later went on to become a popular cartoon series.  The Classic Series Babar began in 1989, when I was six years old, the perfect age to watch Babar! 


Babar The First Complete Season features the young Babar as he comes kind of the jungle!  Throughout their adventures,  Babar and his friends help teach the importance of family values, and that anything is always possible.  The DVD features the complete first season of 13 episodes on a disc set.

I am always pleased when my children can indulge in the same cartoons that I did as a child.  Many of today's cartoons lack the innocence that cartoons back in my childhood did,  so it's nice to have a cartoon that relays such important messages to my children. My youngest children enjoy the cute cartoon characters including their favorite character, Babar of course!  I have been letting them watch a couple episodes a day and they really seem to keep their attention the entire time so I can do mommy stuff(like washing the dishes) while their watching Babar!
