Baby Shower Event - Halo Sleep

At Halo Sleep their mission is to help babies sleep safely and they do this by educating parents about safe sleep methods and offering wearable blankets to help babies sleep safely from the beginning.  After founder Bill Schmid and his wife lost their first born to SIDS they decided to create a brand that would help babies sleep safely  and that brand is Halo.  Their brand is so trusted in fact it is the number one trusted brand used by hospitals.

While shopping on HaloSleep.com you will find a variety of safe sleep items including Safe SleepSacks, SleepSack Swaddles, SafeSleep Wearable Blankets, Gift Sets, and more.  Their SleepSacks come in a variety of sizes, colors, prints, and even materials so you can find one perfect for your baby.  I recently received a Halo SleepSack to review.  I chose a size small because it fits size 0-6 months (10-18 pounds),  which will last quite longer than your average baby clothes.

The SleepSack is decorated with adorable pastel colored cupcakes that even feature sprinkles on top of them, some of them even have a cherry on top!  Can I have a Halo SleepSack with a cherry on top please?  ...I think so!

The purpose of the Halo SleepSack is to replace loose blankets in the crib.  And we all know that loose blankets can sometimes cause babies to suffocate so this is an excellent way to prevent suffocation while sleeping.  Are you aware that every year SIDS and accidental suffocation leads to the death of 5,000 babies!  Well Halo is,  so they kindly donates a portion of each sale to help charities in the fight against SIDS.

I love the fact that babies can't kick the blanket off because so many times I have woke up to a cold baby, with no covers on.  I also love the fact that I know my baby will not suffocate and will be able to breathe well because there is no risk of the blanket covering her mouth during sleep.  And when baby rests peacefully so does mommy and daddy, and what parent wouldn't appreciate that!

BUY IT: You can purchase a Halo SleepSack Cotton Wearable Blanket for $26.95.

That's adorable! I like how you thought about the baby not being able to kick the blankets off. That's definitely a plus!

This really is such a great product. That is a lot of lives lost in a year from suffocation. I am so glad there are companies like this who looks out for the safety of our babies.
