Meet McKenna Brooks, an energetic young girl who loves gymnastics!  Gymnastics is McKenna's life until a sudden injury and helpful tutor help to show her there are more important things in life too!  All she wants to do is make her parents proud of her which is why she becomes embarrased when her grades start to decline.  McKenna is a good gymnist, friend, and student.

Meet Toulane Thomas, McKenna's good friend and gymnist team mate since they were only three years old.  She is always pushing McKenna to do her best and stay on her feet. Toulane can sometimes become to competitive and must learn how to balance her life and just have fun with it!

This movie is actually scheduled to air on July 14th at 8/7c on NBC, so be sure to tune in.  McKenna is inspired by the popular line of dolls - American Girl.  

This movie helps teach girls the importance of family, friends, and believing in themselves.  I thought this movie was super cute and makes a perfect addition to any girl's movie collection. McKenna is a heartwarming story that is very unique.  I enjoyed watching this with my little niece and she enjoyed watching it too.
