Just this past weekend my mom hosted a baby shower for me! This is my fourth baby shower now but my first baby shower for a girl, so you can imagine how excited I was! Out with the blue decorations and in with the pink and purple. I thought a princess themed baby shower would be perfect so that's what we went with. From tiaras and wands to jewels, everything was perfect!
This was just one of five tables!
The beautiful diaper cake that I received from storkandveil.com. It made a perfect centerpiece! It's so pretty I hate to even take it apart! But I definitely will be because it includes a stunning sterling silver ratttle, cute pink socks, three receiving blankets, and an adorable little prego bear! If your in need of a diaper cake for your baby shower or baby gifts, be sure to stop by their site.
Check out the cute lil shoe favors! They are so cute you almost wanna actually put them on your baby, lol! I received them from an Etsy shop called DImple's Handmade Crafts. They are also available in other colors to match the gender of your baby. If you don't know what your ordering you can order the gender neutral color. :) Besides these adorable favors she also offers Fofusha dolls so be sure to stop by her online Etsy shop and check it out!
MMM... there was plenty of yummy stuff on the menu!!! Refried Beans, Beef and Rice Fiesta, Tortilla Chips and Salsa, Apples and Caramel Dip, Spinach Dip, Deviled Eggs, and Spinach Tortilla Wraps!
The princess cupcakes turned out perfectly! It was actually a kit I received from www.birthdaysupplydepot.com. The kit included enough princess picks and liners to make 24 cupcakes. It also included the stand which held all twenty four of the cupcakes. The cupcakes were a huge hit and were gone as soon as they came out!
Favors, Favors, and More Favors! My mother in law made the special favors in the middle and then the princess boxes filled with candy and the princess dress favors filled with gumballs actually came from the dollar store. Who says, favors has to be expensive!
We even decorated the pool with a dozen "It's A Princess" beach balls that I purchased online at Amazon.com.
Check out the cute princess themed napkins, plates, and mats that I also received from Birthday Supply Depot. They were just a few items that I received in my princess themed party pack.
Overall, the party was a huge hit! There was over thirty five guests which was a mixture of women, men, and children. Yes, it was a co-ed baby shower. It was my first co-ed baby shower, but it was nice having the guys there too. We even had the guys participate in the scratcher game! :) Oh, and I wasn't the only prego there, there were actually three other women who attended my baby shower who were also pregnant!
