Knot genie Brush Review + Giveaway

If your wish is to make knots disappear then the Knot Genie can definitely grant your wish for you!

My middle son has perfect curls, but those perfect curls come at a cost.  His hair is extremely hard to brush, you see he has long curly hair and it easily gets tangled, making it hard to brush out.  Hair brushing time always comes with lots of yells and screams!  He absolutely hates having it brushed out,  yet he doesn't want his hair cut.  His favorite expression when it comes to his locks is "Curls for the Girls".  Yes, he's a charmer and when he gets older he is going to be a lady killer!  Any time I take him out in public people are constantly coming up to us telling us how adorable he is and how much they like his hair.

So you can only imagine how excited I was when I saw the
Knot Genie!  Only, I have tried using so many different brushes on his hair, so I was hesitant as to weather this brush would actually work on his crazy curls.  When my son first saw it he said it looked like a ladybug, which eased him up to the brush.  It was colored with a green camoflage like print making it boy friendly. Since his hair is curly it is always best to wet it before brushing it out, so I sprayed some detangler in his hair before running the brush through it.  Amazingly, the brush didn't tug as much as usual brushes do on his hair, but still removed the tangles.

I was very impressed with the overall performance of this brush so I decided to use it on my youngest sons hair too. His hair has long loose curls so we can get away with brushing it without wetting it or using detangler.  The brush easily glided through his hair leaving it tangle free and surprisingly soft.   So, I decided to test it out on my long straight hair and sure enough it easily glided through my hair as well, leaving it looking freshly manicured.  That just goes to prove it can be used on all different types of hair.

What sets this brush apart from all the others is for one the fact that it features a variety of different sized teeth on the brush.  As you brush your hair, they bend just perfectly to gently untangle your hair with little effort on your end.  Because you don't put any stress on your hair it leaves it unharmed.  This means more shiny smooth hair for you!
