Progresso Recipe Starters

Introducing to you the newest addition to the Progresso family... Recipe Starters!  This new line of versatile cooking sauces help provide busy cooks with a head start on making yummy home-cooked meals.  I don't know about you, but as a mother of three young boys, I can definitely use a head start when it comes to cooking!

The Progresso Recipe Starters are currently available in five delicious flavors:

  1. Garlic
  2. Basil
  3. Tomato
  4. Mushroom
  5. Cheese
I love cooking,  but I don't always have the time to make homemade meals - that is where the new recipe starters from Progresso comes in!  On each can you will find a tasty recipe to make using the recipe starter. For instance on the back side of the Creamy Parmesean Basil can you will find a recipe for Creamy Alfredo Chicken and on the backside of the Creamy Roasted Garlic you will find a recipe for Chicken Pot Pie.  I recently tried out the Chicken Pot Pie recipe using the Creamy Roasted Garlic cooking sauce and it tasted amazing to say the least!  It was very simple to make and did not require much time.  My children ate all their dinner and that is something that usually doesn't happen in my household.

Many of the recipes only require seven or fewer ingredients and takes only thirty minutes or less to cook. Most of the ingredients in the recipe I actually already hand on hand.  I can't wait to try out the rest of the sauces including the cheese sauce that I want to make homemade mac and cheese with!

BUY IT: You can purchase Progresso Recipe Starters for a suggested retail price of $2.49 per 18-ounce can.

There are so many good flavors there. I think my Hubs would like the Cheese the best, I would like basil
