The Gruffalo's Child Book & DVD - Review + Giveaway

If your child liked The Gruffalo,  then he will love the new sequal called The Gruffalo's Child. It is based on the treasured children's book written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler.  

The Gruffalo's Child tells the tale of a daddy Graffalo who warns his little Graffalo about a big scary mouse.  One night while bored the little Gruffalo wonders into the woods in search of the big bad mouse.  He comes across many critters including an owl, fox, and snake but none of them are the big scary mouse.  Just when she is about to give up searching, she comes across a little mouse.  The tiny mouse listens to the Gruffalo as she explains what she is looking for and then the mouse decides to reveal his big bad secret!  

My kids enjoyed both the book and the DVD.  The book is filled with lots of great illustrations while the DVD is filled with awesome characters.  The book makes a perfect bedtime story.  The DVD is just the perfect length to keep my young children's attention.
