My children are now eager to exercise...I mean what children wouldn't be since they get to exercise with such an adorable character as Rompy Roo!  Jumpsport the makers of the iBounce have released two new animated adventures for Rompy Roo including LetThe Games Begin and Grand Finale. Both of the animated adventures help children develop coordination, balance, while also teaching them to listen and follow rules.  The other DVD that I received is an introductory DVD, which teaches them some basic bounce exercises.

If you own a tablet you can even hook it up so that your children can view it on the tablet.  Or, if you perfer you can put it on your DVD player, like we did. The tablet holder will fit iPads, Kindles, Kindle Fire, and other tablets. The mount securely holds your tablet in place, so you don't have to worry about it falling. The beginning DVD that was included with the iBounce helped teach my children some neat exercises, while the new adventures released in November help keep their exercising new and fun.

Now it's not often that I drink, but when I do I enjoy drinking shots so shots it was.  We put the kiddos to bed early and enjoyed a movie with a little bit of Broken Shed Vodka, just enough to get a nice relaxing buzz going on.  I must say the quality of the vodka was easily recognized by my pallette.  I would have to describe it as  a very smooth crisp taste. It's unique taste is very refreshing and can be drank either on the rocks or straight. I recently received a Sandzini Creator Ice Cream Parlor Set to review with my children.  What kid doesnt like Ice Cream and what kid doesn't like toys, so mix them together and you'll have them ice-Screaming for more fun toys from the Ohio Art Company!

My sons had a blast making up delicious looking creations such as icream cones, icecream sandwhiches, and whatever else their little minds thought up! I started out by squishing and squeezing the dough for a few minutes to get it ready for my little artists. They used the rollers to roll out the dough and then dough cutters to cut out their creations and a sculpting tool to perfectly sculp their desserts to their likings.  The dough is actually a lot similar to that of Play Dough, but is not as smooth, as it has lots of glitter in it.

After they were done with their creations they covered it and let it sit.  Once it was dried they had so much fun playing with their pretend icecream desserts.  It makes a great toy or gift for crafty children, and those who could use a little less time on the screen and a little more time expanding their minds with fun toys!

Pizza Hut Cologne

Did you know you can smell like pizza every day of the week?  Well maybe YOU can't, but the sole 110 bottles that were distributed to canadian facebook fans, can!  I know it sounds like I'm joking, but I'm really not!  The new cologned named, Eau De Pizza Hutt (chosen off of facebook suggestions) is said to smell just like a freshly baked pizza coming out of the box. 

The purpose of distributing the pizza scented cologne was to celebrate reaching 100,000 fans on their Canada Facebook page.  Geez, I wonder what they will come out with when they reach 200,000!  Perhaps,  pizza scented toothpaste!

Back when I had my first son I use to enjoy doing yoga very much.  These days, I just don't have the time with three kids three and under and a nine year old my time is pretty much their time.  That doesn't mean that I don't enjoy it though, so from time to time to time I fit it in my busy schedule when I have a chance.  At first I use to think it was a little bit silly, that is until I started doing it.

Meet Azra.  She is one of four tranformational dolls that can change from vampire to school girl within the time it takes to turn her head!  In addition to Azra, the toymaker Playhut also offers three other diva fashion dolls including: Siva, Talin, and Kalani.

I was excited by just the thought of receiving apple butter to try out.  You see I have never tried any type of fruit butters, but I have always wanted to.  The thought of apple butter especially excited me because my kids and I just love apples!  The Musselman's Apple Butter came packaged in a 28 ounce glass jar.  The 28 ounces actually equal one pound and 12 ounces which is plenty to make lots of yummy recipes! 

Of course I wanted to spread it on some toast, but I also wanted to get a little bit creative with it too. Let me first say it tastes delicious spread on toasted english muffins, just ask my kids, they'll tell you! It actually makes an excellent alternative to butter because it does not contain any dairy.  It is actually made in giant copper kettles which are constantly stirred for hours until the butter reaches a caramel color.   

I can best describe the flavor as a flavorful apple taste with alot of spice.  My family and I really enjoy using it in our recipes.  I recently made a white cake and decided to give it a little bit of flavor by adding a teaspoon of the apple butter and lets just say it was the best white cake we have ever ate!  I also added some to my cream cheese dip and it really transformed the recipe into something even more delicious.  I can't wait to incorporate apple butter into more of my recipes, as I am sure it will enhance them too!

Elf-Magic

This Christmas season we are starting a brand new tradition, one that includes a festive little elf!  This tradition involves a magical little elf that can be played with by your child during the day and with a little help from some magical snowflakes - comes to life at night.  During the night these naughty little elves get into lots of mischief by doing things like getting into the cereal box, but they also do nice things too,  like cleaning your child's room for them. Basically there's no elfcapade that these magical elf's aren't up for!

The night of Thanksgiving my children and I sat down to write a letter to santa asking him to send Elf Magic elf come visit us.  We also left out an elfs favorite snack - crackers and ice water, of course. The very next day Elfie surprised us.  My sons found him resting by our fireplace!  Next to the Elf Magic was his very own little green velvety santa bag, the perfect size for small elf gifts. 

That very day Elfie became their new best friend, they even took him to meet their grandmother. That night they sprinkled magical north pole snowflakes on him.  I guess the snowflakes worked because the next day they found Elfie sitting on top of some holiday Christmas movies!  "Elfie must have got them together for us to watch today", said my three year old with excitement!  My children sat with Elfie as they watched the holiday movies together.

 We can't wait to see where Elfie goes next - just hopefully it isn't toilet papering our Christmas tree! I will be revealing Elfie in the next post so stay tuned as I will be keeping you updated on Elfies magic adventures in our home!

I do not own a mattress protector for my bed, so when I was given the option to select an item from Magnolia Organics I selected one of their cloth mattress protectors.  My baby girl takes naps in our bed sometimes, so the thought of having something protect our mattress against spit ups and accidents gives me a little peice of mind. 

The cloth mattres protector arrived in an organic bag.  Although the bag can be reused as a produce bag, I have decided to instead use it to store my daughters booties in, so that way I can keep them all in one place. Anyways back to the mattress protector! I was surprised by how heavy the material is - it's definitely high quality.  I stripped my bed and then placed the mattress cover on top.  It perfectly fit on my mattress.   

I can now rest assure that my mattress is protected.  I mean you spend alot of money on a mattress so why not spend a little on it to make sure it is protected!

Now fastfard back to the part about him being really excited about receiving his bike.  His face lit up with joy, I mean... what kid doesnt get super excited about their very own first bike!  It took him a while to get use to it, but luckily he has two older brothers to help give him a push.  It wasn't long before he was pushing himself on it.  Now, anytime you see my two oldest sons riding their bike, you see my little man pushing behind them!

And guess what?  His olders brothers may end up with flat tires, but not him!  The tires are actually made of Biodegradable EVA airless tires and the frame is wooden instead of plastic, making the bike Eco-Friendly. An Eco-Friendly bike?  Now, that's a winner in our book!

The Dinosaur Train

Is your child a fan of Dinosaur Train?  If not, they should be!  It's an exciting cartoon that introduces children to the prehistoric age.  Follow Buddy as he explores the world of swamps, erupting volcanoes, and meets lots of dinosaurs.

To help celebrate Thanksgiving, my son received a wonderful Thanksgiving basket of fun! The basket included Dinosaur themed slippers, PJ's, shorts, and a book.   As soon as it arrived he opened up the box and his face lit up with excitment!  The entire day he was just waiting for bedtime to come,  so he could put on his brand new "Jammas" and slippers, and have me read him his new book.. I must say the slippers and pj set looked extrememly adorable on him.  At night before he went to bed I read him the story while he proudly wore his Dinosaur Train pajamas and slippers. The book has got him all excited about the upcoming holidays, which is why I think it would make a great addition to child's holiday book collection.

This Thanksgiving Day my son will wake up in his Dinosaur Train Pajamas and more than likely the first thing he will do is watch Dinosaur Train.  Thankgiving is a great way to introduce your child to different foods,  as well as healthy eating habits. Prior to Thanksgiving have your child help plan the menu and shopping list.  By doing so  this might just get your picky eater to try new foods, like my nine year old son who is super picky! 

To help teach your child the importance of healthy eating Your child can visit the Dinosaur Train web page to complete a free project.  Your child will that can be used to construct a Thanksgiving dinner for modern day animals that enjoy a plant-based diet (herbivores).  It might just  help encourage your child to eat more  veggies, just like the animals in the project.

Be sure to tune into PBS Kids the week of December 10th, as they will air all new episodes!  You don't want to miss out on these episodes because brand new characters will be introduced.  My son will definintely be snuggling up in his Dinosaur Trains and watching the new exciting episodes.

This exciting double feature was released on November 6, 2012, just in perfect time for the holiday season.  The Totally Tinsel Collection includes not one,  but two holiday adventures.  It includes both Prep & Landing and Naughty & Nice.

 

 

 

Prep & Landing help get millions of homes ready for Santa's yearly visit. Santa couldn't do it without help from both the elves so it's up to them to guide the reigndeers pulling Santa's sleigh through a snowstorm in Prep & Landing. In Naughty & Nice the elves find themselves racing to recover classified North Pole technology that has fallen into the hands of a naught little boy.  

  

 

 

You may recognize the Prep & Landing from the half hour holiday specials that orginally aired on t.v., and if so you know they are definetly worth adding to your collection. I love the fact that this set includes both movies.  I also love the fact that our entire family can watch these movies, as they are very entertaining. It even got my husband laughing.  In our eyes it's definitely a classic holiday movie!

Black Friday Sales

If your the type of person that will do just about anything for a good deal then your more than likely a black friday shopper.  Myself,  hmm usually you won't find me out shopping on black friday, but this friday is a different story. No, you won't find me getting any door busters, as I like to avoid as much waiting as possible and I'm definitely not going to fight anyone for a deal, but I would like to get some good sales, especially with my oldest sons birthday party coming up next week!

 It seems like everyone has black friday ads no matter if it's the mall, clothing stores, hardware stores, (well you get the picture!).  The key is to know the best places to go, so you don't find yourself waiting your precious time.  Instead of waiting your time trying to search store by store visit blackfriday.com and let them do all the searching for you! 

I plan on visiting Target tomorrow, so I decided to view their sales and sure enough I found quite a few things that interested me.  First of all, I love their 3 peice sets by a brand of Carter's that I only find at Target and I have had an outfit in mind and right now it's $14 instead of the usual $16 so I am going to pick it up.  I also found some deals on their sleepers, so I plan on purchasing one of those too.  I also found some awesome deals at Walmart so we are definitely planning on visiting Walmart too. 

If you plan on doing any black friday shopping, you should certainly visit www.blackfriday.com. But be prepared for long lines, and don't get dissapointed if something you are looking for is sold out because it's bound to happen sooner or later.

Sesame Street DVD

My middle son will soon be turning four which means he will be attending preschool before we know it.  It also means we need to start preparing him for preschool.  I can do this with help from the newest released Sesame Street DVD called PRESCHOOL IS COOL - MAKING FRIENDS.  Because after all what better way to get ready for preschool than with Elmo and friends! 

My son is super shy, I mean covering his face type of shy!  It's important to work on his social skills before starting preschool, so I am happy to have Elmo teach him just that!  In this fun DVD, Grover is the preschool teacher and Elmo is the student.  Before the class begins Grover helps teach Elmo important social skills.  They share stories and songs about making friends and take turns sharing, another important skill to teach young children.

This movie has really got my son excited about starting school.  It has also got him excited about meeting children and making lots of friends.  He sang along with the songs and really seemed intrigued by what Elmo and Grover was teaching him.  I love that it teaches him social skills, to share, take turns and to cooperate.

Santa Paws 2

Just in time for the Christmas holiday Santa Paws 2 is available on Blue Ray and DVD!

While in the North Pole their micheivious gets them into trouble when they practically destory Santa's Workshop.  In order to prove their responsible the pups begin to grant wishes, with a little bit of help from a magic crystal that is!  Everything goes well until a young boy with a certain wish comes along.  The wish just so happens to be that he wishes Christmas away and with that wish the pups encounter another problem.  It is then up to the pups to find a way to reverse the spell before Christmas is lost forever!


Get To Know The Pups:
The adorable litter of pups include three females and one male. Hope is a tomboy who likes to wear a red baseball cap, on backwards of course.  Jingle is truely a diva who enjoys singing even though she can't carry a tune. Charity is a super girly little pup who has to learn the meaning of her name. Noble is the leader of the litter and of course the only brother. 


This movie makes a perfect watch for the entire family, this holiday season.  So pop some popcorn, sit down with your blankets, get comfortable, and join your family in this cute yet hillarious family  holiday movie!  That's what my family did for our weekly family night and we really enjoyed it.  No matter if your purchasing this movie for a stocking stuffer or a gift, this movie will be sure to light up your child's face! Not to mention it will make a pawfect edition to their holiday movie collection.
