World Vision Review + Giveaway

 - SPONSOR SPOTLIGHT:   World Vision

I am pretty sure everyone enjoys opening gifts on Christmas. But what about the families, most importantly, children in the world who won't receive any gifts?  It's always better to give than to receive and I know the perfect organization to give to. World Vision is a Christian based relief and development organization that helps children, families, and communities overcome poverty.

World Vision offers many ways to help give:
  • Sponsor a Child
  • Gift Giving Catalog
  • Provide Emergency Aid
  • Fund a Micro Loan
  • And Many More!!!

PRODUCTS: Plush Toys -
Gertie the Goat
Chuma the Chick
Pallu the Pig

There are so many children around the world who do not even know what Christmas is because their parents are simply to poor to afford gifts.  Perfect for Christmas, World Vision offers a special package called Toys and Dolls,  which consists of  $600 worth of toys for only $50 or $420 worth of toys for only $35.  Wondering how this is possible?  It's simple - because of donations from leading companies your gifts will go twelve times further!  In addition to this package you will find many more options in the World Vision Gift Catalog to help out.

Sometimes the most valuable things to purchase families in need are animals because the animals continue to provide such things as food and extra income! Just think about it- a pair of chickens and a goat can provide steady milk, eggs, and meat to feed children and help families.  Even a sheep would provide milk, cheese, and wool for children and families.  That is why the World Vision Gift Catalog offers many different options when it comes to animals.  You will also find many other options such as one of my favorites - New Mother & Baby Kit!

I recently received a set of plush toys from World Vision.  They represent farm animals that are donated to children and families in need because they provide a steady flow of food and extra income.  You can donate $25 for each plush toy from the World Vision Gift Catalog.  As soon as my two year old saw the stuffed animals he said "How cute is that!" and he couldn't of been more right!

WIN IT:  Thanks to World Vision, one of my lucky winners is going to receive the same plush set mentioned above!!!

*Disclaimer - I received the items mentioned above, free of charge, for review purposes.  World Vision is also sponsoring this giveaway.  In no way did this alter my opinion of their products.  All of my opinions expressed in this post are one hundred percent honest and true.*

This sounds like a great way to give. I try to worthy causes when I can. Sometimes I just give to bums in the street... not money but food.

What a great cause this is, but why is it we usually only do this around Christmas. I am so guilty of that.
