Dinosaur Train

If your child is a fan of Dinosaur Train they will especially appreciate the newest Dinosaur Train holiday book and DVD! The Dinosaur Train is an Emmy-nominated Television series that features fun dinosaur characters.  It introduces children to prehistoric ages as they will learn about various dinosaurs as they go on an adventure with Buddy.

Now back to the Dinosaur Train holiday book and DVD! The book from Reader's Digest Children's Publishing is called Ride The HolidayTrain Lift. It is perfect for children ages two to five years old. Perfect for my youngest sons as they are ages two and four.

In this fun holiday themed book Buddy is excited about Winter Solitice! Travel to the North Pole where the Pteranodon family has fun building snow dinosaurs, playing a prehistoric game of ice holiday, and even meet some new friends along the way! The funest part abou the book is the hidden flaps. On each page your child will be asked a special question and will be able to answer it by finding the answer to it under one of the flaps. My children esepecially enjoyed looking under all the flaps and answer the question.

The holiday themed DVD called Dinosaurs A to Z is from Paramount Home Entertaining. It includes approximatly 110 minutes - that's over one hour of Dinosaur Train fun! In this entertaining DVD the dinosaurs gather for a picnic at Troodon Town. During this episode they are introduced to new dinosaur species while learning about all about the classification of all 26 dinosaurs on the dinosaur train!  It also includes an exciting bonus episode called Solstice Time. While Buddy and his family are visiting the North Pole the conductor suggests they visit the Aurora Borealis Station. The kids wait till night time to view the light show (Aurora Borealis) and put on an ice skating show.  Everyone joins in to sing "Soltice Time is Here".  My kids enjoyed singing along with Buddy and the rest of the dinosaurs!

Both of these items make a great gift for the Dinosaur Train lover on your list!

BUY IT: You can purchase the book for $9.99 and the DVD for $12.99.
