Heelys

SPONSOR SPOTLIGHT: Heelys

PRODUCT:   Heelys - Overide

MY THOUGHTS:
Now you can wear your shoes and skates at the same time with HEELYS!  Unless you have been living under a rock, you know exactly what Heelys are, but for all of you uniformed people out there let me catch you up to date!  Heelys are a pair of skate shoes that include wheels in the heels of the shoes, allowing you to skate while wearing them. Think theyre just for children? ...Wrong!  They are available in adult sizes too, making them perfect for adults who are young at heart!

How exactly do you skate in Heely's you may be wondering.  Well, when you shift your weight from your front toes to the back of your heels, it instantly puts you in a coasting position. You can easily go back to a walking position by shifting your weight forward.  I know this first hand because I reviewed a pair on myself last year.  I also know because my son is always wearing his!

For this review I chose another pair for my son to review because he has been pestering for quite some time now to get him a new pair. Heelys stays up to date on fashion and is always introducing new styles.  We chose the new style - Overide.  The style of the shoe is very unique because it looks like a skate shoe, yet it also looks like an athletic shoe at the same time.

My son skates all over the place, including the grocery store, and our sidewalk.  Another neat feature about them is that we can remove the wheels,  so he can wear them to school.  No matter how or where he wears them, he sure gets alot of use out of them because when he isn't walking in them, he's skating in them!

BUY IT: You can purchase Heelys Overide for $69.99.

These look fun! As always, I love presents that encourage outdoor activity. I doubt it would be possible to have these and not want to go skate everywhere!
