If you know me then you know I enjoy hosting parties. Even better put I guess you could say I enjoy the overall party planning experience from the decorations to the menu and everything else in between. I am fortunate enough to be a member of HouseParty, an online site that offers the opportunity to be provided with certain products, favors, and sometimes decorations, in exchange for hosting a branded houseparty. It's nothing like the Tupperware or adult parties that you are probably use to attending.
When attending a HouseParty, you receive free samples, favors, and get to try out cool products, all for free! There is nothing be sold, unless you happen to like it so much you end up visiting a store to purchase it. I have hosted many HouseParties and they always turn out to be a huge hit with guests. They are usually always different in theme from Fisher Price to Alcoholic parties. This time I was selected to host a Glo Girl House Party for Own products. They just happened to be accepting hosts in my area and I was selected..YAY!!!
Own products are part of a skin care line that is dedicated to empowering beautiful glowing skin. Their skincare products range from lip products to skin products. We were excited to have an opportunity to try them out during the party. I received a set of five for myself and then five for the party as well. We all had a good time sampling the products. Even some of the men decided to try them out, and even my husband ended up falling in love with the lotion!
During the party we used the cleanser to clean one of the guests face and then gave her a makeover afterward(see the photo above), while all the other guests enjoyed a homemade masque. I would post a photo of our masque faces but the ladies wouldn't let me,lol! We also enjoyed finger foods and some delicious gourmet cupcakes! Overall, the party was a huge hit and we had a lot of fun! So much fun in fact that we spent over 5 hours partying it up with Own skincare products! We definitely glowed afterward!!!

When I find a great product, My Hubs usually tries it too.... sometimes he takes it and I never see it again.
I need to go check them out and see if they have anything for a family cook off party.
