Little Critter's App and Book Giveaway!!!

Guess who will soon be celebrating a birthday???? Give up???? ...No other than the beloved American author and illistrator himself - Mercer Mayor!  You may not recognize him by name, but I am sure you will recognize him by his children's book series,   Little Critter and Little Monster.

In case you are not familiar with Mercer Mayor, let me be the first to introduce you!  He was born in Little Rock Arkansas back on December 30, 1943. This means he's turning the big 70 this year so we need to start planning a huge celebration.  I mean he certainly deserves it, afterall he has published over 300 children's books!

Not only does Mercer Mayor have something to celebrate but so does Silver Dolphin Books! You see, this year they will be unrevealing their very first app about Little Critter: The Trip. It is still being developed but the good news is you can get a sneak peek of one of the scenes in this exciting app

If your child is a fan of Mercer Mayor books then they're going to LOVE this app!  Children can relate to familiar situations he finds himself in.  Little Critter will help teach them that it's okay to keep trying until you get things right, no matter what it is. The cool thing is that they will have fun and enjoying it while learning at the same time.

This app will become available in February of this month. The fun doesn't stop at this app, you can also visit the Silver Dolphin website for FREE Holiday ECards! Be sure to print the Little Critters Activity Sheets too!

Snowball soup looks like a really fun book. I remember a book called Stone Soup when I was younger.... Not sure what it has to do with snowball soup, just thought I would throw that in there.
