My Lucky Elephant

Surrounded in a jungle full of wild animals lived a young orphaned boy who lived all by his lonesome. That is until one day he met an elephant that he later named "lucky".  He knew that life is always better with a friend so he felt very lucky to have Lucky in his life.  After being faced with many humorous challenges the elephant learns to paint at the Academy of Art and soon becomes a star painter making him very famous.  Soon, both the boy and the elephant have plenty of food and money and are living a good life.  That is until Lucky falls in love with a female elephant by the name of Candy. Lucky starts his only family with Candy leaving the boys wondering what he will do.

I watched this movie with my soon to be three year old and my four year old son and we all really enjoyed it.  It's such a nice story that teaches young children important values including friendship.  It kept them engaged the entire movie which really says something about the movie!  My son's enjoyed learning about elephant during the movie and it even taught me a few things I never knew about elephants.  I was especially impressed with the beautiful exotic scenes shown during the movie.

The great thing about this movie is that it can be watched by everyone in your family including your little ones, kids, pre-teens, and just about anyone that enjoys an adventure!

My Lucky Elephant was released on February 26, 2013 and is available for purchase, so be sure to pick up a copy and enjoy it with your children.

*Disclaimer- I received the DVD mentioned above, free of charge, for review purposes.  In no way did this alter my opinion of this movie.  All of my opinions expressed in this post are one hundred percent honest and true.*

I love movies that can be enjoyed by the whole family. I think my two little toddler granddaughter's would like this. Both are animal lovers and I think they would connect with this film. Thanks :)
