Celebrate Father's Day with The Dinosaur Train!

Do you know what June is?  Your probably thinking...Summer!  Well yes, it's the beginning of Summer, but it's also National Zoo and Aquarium month!  So, what better time than to get the kids together for a fun outing at the zoo or aquarium!  Can't get to the aquarium or zoo? Then why not check them out online!  And, if your local a great place to visit is the Monterey Bay Aquarium!

Both Zoo's and Aquariums offer children a great place to go for educational resources as do the websites. You will see photos, learn interesting facts, watch videos, and participate in fun activities. To view a helpful list of accredited zoos and aquariums,  be sure to visit The Association of Zoos and Aquariums.

Perfect for young Dinosaur Train Lovers, the Jim Henson Company  has just recently launched  The Dinosaur Train Discovery Tour. Wondering exactly what it is? Well, it's actually a mobile website that can be accessed using your pc, laptop, or even your mobile phone using a smartphone web browser.  It will take children on a tour that will allow the to explore all about dinosaurs linked from their animated television series to zoo and aquarium animals. You can visit it before, during, or after your trip to the zoo and aquarium.  They even offer a fun guide that you can download to take with you on your visit.

With Father's Day right around the corner, it's just the perfect time to create a card for dad and don't forget to bake an decorate a cake for that special daddy in your life. Kids will enjoy creating a fun yet FREE Father's Day card that you can print here. And, don't forget all the Dinosaur Train cake decorating items that you can purchase at various online retailers including Amazon.com.

And remember, you can catch The Dinosaur Train on PBS Kids.

Be sure to pick up a Buddies Favorite Trip sticker book, so your children can have fun placing over 70 Dinosaur themed stickers on fun themed pages full of exciting themes.

Make sure you follow The Dinosaur Train on Facebook,  and The Jim Henson company on Facebook

I can't wait to take my granddaughter to the zoo and aquarium in Seattle when I visit her in August. My oldest granddaughter loves Dinosaur Train and watches it all the time. I'm also going to do the The Dinosaur Train Discovery Tour with my granddaughter. She will love it. Thanks :)
