Happy New Year!!!

I hope everyone enjoyed their New Years Eve. I spent New Years with my family.  We ate some Chinese food and drank some Nuvo(Peach Cobbler flavored). Overall, we had a great New Years Eve. Today we will be celebrating by eating New Years dinner at my parents house. On the menu is Fried Chicken, Fried Potatoes, and Black Eyed Peas (for good luck). Of course, my menu differs from everyone else, as I cannot eat fried food.  Mine will be prepared baked instead of fried. Which brings me to my New Years resolution....becoming more healthy!

I know many peoples New Years resolution is to become more healthy and lose weight and I know many people do not follow through with their New Years resolution,  but this mama is determined!  I am getting a gym membership this weekend and will be totally changing my diet, including cutting way back on my Starbucks coffees.   I am also going to start taking multi-vitamins, which I should have been taking a long time ago.  I can't wait to become more healthy and achieve my weight loss goals in 2014!

Now that I have shared my New Years resolution with all of you, why don't you tell me what your New Years resolution is this year.

I don't make resolutions anymore because I don't stick to them LOL. I know myself better than that :)

Happy New Year!

Determination is the most important step!! Now you need to stick to it. :) I did it once, and I lost a crazy amount of weight and got very fit. Changed my life!

Happy new years & good luck!

Good Luck with your resolution - I have things I would like to achieve this year but I haven't really made a resolution mainly as I'm one of those people who will decide when the time is right just at a moments notice - making something when time isn't right just ends up as a failure for me. x

I don't make New Year' Resolutions anymore because I always break them. Instead I am setting goals and trying to work toward them.

Thats the second time today that I read that black eyed peas were eaten for luck on NYE. How come I don't know about this? I wonder if its a regional thing. I hope it works, best to you in 2014!

Hubby and I haven't sat down yet to map out our goals for the coming year - I know, we're behind - but I have a few of my own. Keep the house cleaner, experiment more with food preservation, and things like that.

2014 is going to be fun!

Sounds like you had a very happy new year. For me, one of my many resolutions is to take this whole blogging thing more serious. I have been doing it for a few months and there still is so much more to learn.

My Resolutions include better time management, improve my photography and spend more time doing things that I love.

Good luck and keep us updated. Blogging about it will make it easier to stick with - we will hold you accountable, lol. My goal this year is to run at least 1000 miles total for the year. I have a ways to go.

My only resolution, if you will, is to continue to eat healthier and to hopefully lose some more weight. I lost almost 70 lbs last year and would like to lose even more weight.

I am not making resolutions this year but rather a business plan for my life lol. This way I can hold myself more accountable

I'm not good at making resolutions stick at all so I gave it up several years ago and now I just wing it! Good luck with your plans for this year!

Happy New Year and good luck to you with your healthy living goals. That is always one on my list. Not so much weight loss but eating better and increasing activity.

I hope you are successful in sticking to your resolutions. They are great goals. Make sure you don't abandon ship if you happen to have an off day -- you'll have many other days of success.

Happy New Year! Hope 2014 is a wonderful one for you. I wish you all the best with your resolution. I didn't make one this year but, if I had to come up with one, it would be that I pass my minimum requirement test for roller derby by April.
