Raise The Titanic Blu-ray + DVD Combo Pack

*Disclaimer - I received the blu-ray DVD Combo Pack mentioned below, free of charge, for review purposes. In no way did this alter my review.  All of my opinions expressed in this post are one hundred percent honest and true.*

RAISE THE TITANIC

IT WAS FIRST SAID THAT NOT EVEN GOD COULD SINK THE TITANIC...
NOW THEY SAY NO MAN ON EARTH COULD EVER RAISE HER...BUT IS THIS TRUE?

I was fifteen when Titanic was released in theatres. I remember going to watch it with my boyfriend at the time and so many people in the movie theatre were crying. Prior to that, I really did not know anything about the Titanic. After watching the movie, I was so intrigued by how such a strong ship that was thought to be unsinkable sunk to the bottom of the ocean floor and by how many years it has remained there. Sixteen years later and I am still very intrigued by the Titanic.

I was very excited to review RAISE THE TITANIC on Blu-ray & DVD Combo Pack because anything Titanic related really interests me. RAISE THE TITANIC is a fiction  movie based on a best selling novel by Clive Cussler.  This movie tells the story of the worlds most popular passenger liner and all of the treasures that sunk with the ship. When it is thought that the Titanic may have rare minerals in it's sunken ship, it becomes a battle between the Americans and the Russians! This is because the rare minerals could be used to power a sound beam that will knock any missile out of the air when entering US air space.

This movie is one that you will want to watch every single detail from start to finish. It was so interesting to watch as they designed a plan to raise the Titanic, in absolute secrecy.  I especially appreciate all of the special effects within the movie. The music during the movie was absolutely amazing and credit for that definitely has to go to John Berry. His music was beautiful and really went perfectly with this movie. This 2 Disc Set, is available on Blu-ray & DVD Combo Pack.

That is an amazing cast they have there--It is actually because of that movie that I will still not go on a cruise--talk nightmares for years-still do on occasion. I may want to read the book though.

I find the Titanic story really fascinating too! This movie sounds really interesting, though I admit my first thought when I saw the title was "they can't raise the titanic, the metals are too badly corroded" lol.

My oldest son has been all about everything Titanic since he was in 5th grade. I have never watched the movie and actually try to stay away as it is so sad. I always wondered where my son got his addiction from being that I steer clear. I will get this for him as he would love it.

I have interesting memories of when I saw Titanic in the Theatre... There were 4 of us and we couldn't sit together as the place was packed!! I sat in the far front on the far left side, along the wall... everyone around me was crying. Great movie! I like to watch the shows like this one about pulling it up or exploring it under water.
