#GroovyGirls Review

*Disclaimer- I received the items mentioned below, free of charge, for review purposes. In no way did this alter my review.  All of my opinions expressed in this post are one-hundred percent honest and true.*

Since the Groovy Girls were first released in 1998, they have become a world wide hit.  Groovy Girls, made by the parent company The Manhattan Toy Company, are plush dolls that feature soft yarn hair, a fun spunky personality, and cute outfit. Liza, Lucy, Lexi and Lupi are the four original dolls, but I am happy to announce that The Manhattan Toy Company is introducing several other fun dolls to the collection including three Special Edition Sweet 16 Dolls and four "Core" Dolls that start with the letter "B"
-- Brenna,  Bailey,  Bayani, and Brooklyn.

We were delighted to receive both Princess Dahlia, along with a Groovy Girls Royally Ritzy Bed to play with.  It's no secret that my daughter loves dolls, so she welcomed her newest Groovy Doll and Bed with open arms.  I mean the doll alone is cool, but to have a special bed for her little princess to rest her head, provided the ultimate delight.

Princess Dahlia - Features pretty long blond (yard) hair with girly pink highlights, and a 3 cute little flower accents in her hair. Dahlia is super girly from her eye catching flower dress,  to her beautiful pink earrings, down to the pink heels on her feet!

Groovy Girls Royally Ritzy Bed - Is fit for nothing less than a princess!  It's detail is what makes this bed absolutely amazing.  The bed features fun bright colors and prints, not to mention pretty embellishments such as the tulle detail on the backboard and  footboard of the bed.  And let's not forget the adorable pillow decorated with tassels on each end and a beautiful design and the soft stylish printed blanket trimmed in tulle.

Princess Dahlia, along with the Groovy Girls matching Royally Ritzy Bed quickly became my daughters favorite nap time toy. Any time she lays down for a nap or to go to bed, so does my daughter.  She takes care of Dahlia by resting her head carefully on her pillow and tucking her into her "blankie".  The blanket is attached to the bed, so you don't have to worry about it coming off, and the doll can easily be tucked in with no trouble.  The bed fits several of her other dolls too, so when Dahlia is rested up, her other dolls get a turn too.

It's no wonder the Groovy Girls recently received a Parent's Choice Award.  They are very selective about their award winners, but it's no surprise that Groovy Girls made the cut!

BUY IT: You can purchase the new 2014 Core Dolls for $15 each and the Special Edition Dolls for $20.  The Groovy Girls Royally Ritzy Bed can be purchased for $25.00

That was a smart idea to have the blanket attached to the bed. Such a cute doll and overall design.

I don't think I have ever seen this doll around. I think she's very cute, if I had a daughter she would have one.

Cute!! I always prefer dolls that look like dolls, rather than women or sexual pre teens. Looks like a great gift for a little one.
