The Taco Revolution Cookbook

*Disclaimer - I received the recipe book mentioned below, free of charge, for review purposes.  In no way did this alter my review.  All of my opinions expressed in this post are one-hundred percent honest and true.*

Tacos have always been one of my favorite things to eat.  It wasn't until I met my high school boyfriend, that I realized there was more than just one way to make a taco. You see I was use to traditional Americanized tacos, meaning tacos made using flour tortillas, seasoned beef, sourcream, cheese and lettuce.  He was Spanish, so his parents made tacos out of small tortillas, carne asada meat, cilantro, pico de gayo, and was topped with a squirt of fresh lime.  I always enjoyed eating tacos his parents prepared because they were so much different than the ones my parents prepared and my boyfriend at the time liked eating my parents tacos for the same reason.

This just goes to prove eating different tacos can put a fun twist on your average taco, and quickly become a new favorite in your household.  Now when I make tacos, I make them both ways depending upon what I am in the mood for, but I never thought about preparing them any other way...that was until I received THE TACO REVOLUTION book!

The Taco Revolution book contains over 100 traditional and innovative recipes for the most unique tacos you will ever make!  With unique recipes like Chicken and Waffles Taco to Zucchini Pesto Taco to more traditional favorites such as Traditional taco salad and Classic American Taco, your sure to find plenty of recipes your palette will love!  This fabulous recipe book even offers a section filled with delicious seasonings and sauces to enhance your favorite tacos.  If you thought tacos are only for dinner, your wrong, and The Taco Revolution book will prove just that!

After reading The Taco Revolution book, I can honestly say, I had no clue what a taco was until I read this awesome book! It's packed full of so many yummy recipes, each of which include a full size detailed picture, so you can see exactly what the dish should look like when prepared.  I am a very visual person, so the photos are a huge plus for me.  I didn't realize there was so many delicious ways to make a taco until I read this book.  The first recipe on my list to make is Philly Cheesesteak Tacos, who would have thought you could turn a Philly Cheesecake into a taco!

A Philly Cheesesteak Taco does so fabulous!! We eat Tacos every week on Tuesday. I need this book to change it up a little from the regular ground beef boring.
