Eat Smart Precision Elite Food Thermometer

*Disclaimer - I received the item mentioned below, free of charge, for review purposes.  In no way did this alter my review.  All of my opinions expressed in this review are one-hundred percent honest and true.*

I don't know about you, but I'm one of those people who worry about bacteria, especially when I am cooking meat.  The only way you can truly know that your food is cooked to the correct temperature is by using a food thermometer. By using a food thermometer you can determine that your food is done, which eliminates any harmful bacteria that may be present.  Contrary to what you may believe, not just meat needs to cook to a safe minimum temperature including egg dishes and casseroles to even microwaved dishes.

I am one of those people who will overcook their food just to make sure my dishes are fully cooked.  I was recently in the market for a food thermometer, when the kind people over at EatSmart asked me to review their Precision Elite Food Thermometer. It couldn't have come at a better time!  I received the EatSmart food thermometer and began using it that same night for dinner.  A made a tater tot casserole and used the EatSmart thermometer to measure the temperature. I was surprised by how fast and accurate the reading was.  In literally only a few seconds, it registered the temperature.

The EatSmart Elite Food Thermometer:

  • Provides a rapid response in 3 seconds or less

  • 1.5 FDA recommended step down tip

  • Offers a Hold feature to "Freeze" temperature even when removing from food
The Elite Food Thermometer includes a nylon storage case for easy storage.  The case is actually anti-microbial which inhibats the growth of bacterial odor and mold. You can rest assure that the EatSmart Elite Food Thermometer includes a 2 year warantee so you can trust your purchase.
