 I decided upon the black hat to review because I figured it would correspond with all the items in my Fall/Winter wardrobe.  No matter what I pair it with it looks fabulous,  epsecially with my black pea coat.  I can't begin to tell you how warm and comfortable it is while wearing it outdoors.  This is because it is made out of a soft wool knit (boiled wool) and has a shirred appearance.  Not only does it keep my head warm while outdoors but it also looks very stylish and it has become one of my favorite Fall/Winter accessory items.

Since I have three sons I tried my best to find one that would fit them all partially atleast.   I found many cute styles that I liked,  but after considering my options,  I chose to go with the Organic cotton Brown and Tan earflap hat.  It was such a hard choice because they are all so cute,  especially in the animal hats with ears section!  Some of the hats feature pom poms as ears,  while other ones are made to look like a certain animal- like a panda or a frog. 

I ordered the Organic Tan and Brown earflap hat in a size 3-10 years,  so it would fit both my soon to be three year old and my soon to be eight year old.  Luckily for me it fit on all three of their big heads!  With fall approaching us soon I am sure they will be getting plenty of use out of it the only problem is they argue over who's it is... so yes,  they both like it. 

This particular hat is also available in Brown and Pink for girls and runs in sizes newborn to ten years,  so there is a size to fit every child.  Be sure to check out their other selection of unique hats in sweet styles and colors.  I think they would make a great hat to purchase special to replace the average hospital hats.  At our local hospitals the hats are striped with both pink and blue for girls and boys(unisex).  Next time I have a baby(which wont be for a long time), I will be sure to purchase a special hat for my baby to wear in the hospital.  I also think they would also make a great addition to any newborn or baby picture,  both at home and professional.

I recently had the opportunity to review a Sleepy Hat by Zoe B Organic   Valerie Lecoeur,  the founder of the company,  wanted to make safe and healthy options for her three children and ended up making "Sleepy Hats".  Sleep Hats come in a Cream color and retails on her site for $16.99.  My baby sometimes has trouble taking his naps.  He easily gets distracted by light and other visual distractions but when he is wearing his Sleepy Hat,   he does nothing but sleep!  Not to mention the fact that the hat is absolutely adorable!  Below,  is a picture of my son peacefully sleeping with his sleepy hat on.

The Childrens Place Adorable Hats

The Children's Place is one of my favorite Children's clothes stores and i shop there often.  I love their preppy clothing style and all their accessories.  I have been shopping their ever since i was pregnant with my first son in 2003.  The Children's Place is a wonderful store that you can visit either online or in store.  They offer a extremely affordable flat shipping rate of only $5.00.  They are always running deep discount sales too!

While i was recently shopping at their store with my son he picked up this hat and just had to have it.  Of course i went ahead and bought it for him.  It's so adorable, how could i resist!  As soon as we got out of the store he wanted to wear it so we took off his other hat he was wearing and put his new one on.  By the end of our shopping day we had got so many compliments on the hat.  Everyone was telling us what a cute hat it was.  i purchased the hat for $7.50 but they are now available online for only $5.00.  They come in four different styles including: Bulldog(hippo),  Shark(cobalt),  Monster(greenbean), and Tiger(Rhubarb).  The hat in the picture above is the Tiger hat in Rhubarb color.  They are available in sizes:6-9 months,  18-24 months, and 3T-4T.  My son is going on 24 months and his head is rather big so i went ahead and bought him the 3T-4T and it fits him perfect!  A great feature about the hat is that the self flaps keep your kids ears nice and toasty so there is no need to wear ear muffs.  They are imported and fashioned with self piecing appliqued features.
