Sesame Street Elmo DVD

SESAME STREET PRESENTS...

IRON MONSTERS AND SESAME HEROES

Sesame Street has done it again with an amazingly entertaining DVD that features the one and only Elmo himself,  along with the rest of the Sesame Street gang of course!

After Grover's cape is not ready at the laundromat he turns himself into Iron Monster the "Super Hero of the Laundromat".  With his hero abilities Grover will solve any problem that comes his way no matter what it is!  Along with this story comes three other exciting stories.

Sesame Street Iron Monster and Sesame Heroes Includes:

  • "The Flurry Four"
  • "Super Grover's Sidekicks"
  • "Slimey The Hero"
  • Bonus Feature: Bert & Ernie's Great Adventures "Mad Pancake" story.
What fascinates little boys more than super heroes,  so of course my children were highly entertained with Sesame Streets Iron Monster and Sesame Heroes. I like it because it teaches them math, problem solving, and social skills,  and they like it because they can learn from all their favorite Sesame Street characters.  This DVD would make a perfect addition to any little one's DVD collection!

OUR THOUGHTS:
Both my 20 month old sons had fun singing,  dancing,  and learning while watching Elmo's World Favorite Things!  This DVD was especially perfect for my three year old who will be starting preschool soon.  Many of it's episodes teach helpful things that children need to know like how to wrap a gift or how to ask a question at school.  I think my son's favorite episode was the "school" episode because he is so excited about going to school,  just like his older brother!   It was fun to watch them get up and do cute little dances to the songs.  I would recommend this for any preschool age child or even younger because my 20 month old really enjoyed it too! The DVD contains eight episodes in all including the DVD premiere of Elmo's World Building Things.

Elmo Binky DVD

JOIN ELMO AND LET HIM MAKE GROWING UP EASY!

It's weird how every child is different because my first son hated Binky's and never sucked his thumb, then the second one came along and he couldnt get enough of his thumb,  then theres my third child-he can't even part with his binky!  Ever since he was born in  2010 his binky has been his security blanket. No matter where we go,  or where hes at,  he always seems to want it and if he doesnt get it,  he is not a happy camper.  We have tried numerous times to get rid of his binky,  but the binky fairy always seems to bring them back in the time of need.  Usually grandma is the culprit,  but shh... not naming any names!

I don't know if you watched it but on the 28th of October until November the 4th,  Sesame Street ran a week- long promotion for their first ever "Put Down the Pacifier" initiative.  It includes lots of great daily tips for parents and video tips from Elmo to help children make an easy transition into a "big kid".

To pair with their online promotion,  the release of the all new DVD "Bye Bye,   Pacifier!"  Big Kid Stories with Elmo" became available at Walmart on November 1st for $14.98 from Warner Home Video.  Besides helping children learn how to part with their binky Elmo also helps with other great "big kid" issues like riding a tricycle,  and getting a first haircut.  This DVD is perfect for my one year old and my two year old because it teaches them both things that are relevant in their life at the moment.  Now of course the binky issue for my youngest,  but the first hair cut scene is perfect for my two year old because next week he will be getting his very first haircut ever.  You may be thinking, two and has not got his hair cut yet? But don't worry his hair is curly so it doesnt hang down his back.

"Bye Bye, Pacifier!" helps teach children how to deal with difficult emotions and and encourages them to continue learning new things,  which is perfect for preschoolers.  This DVD features three very fun stories including my one year old favorite a tale of how Elmo gave up his binky.  I think maybe I will have him watch this for a few days and he might just pick up on the lesson that Elmo is teaching.  My children loved the all new tune entitled "Big Kid Too".  It was cute watching him dance around to the Elmo tunes!

Did you know that Sesame Street is in it's 42nd season,  this makes it the longest-running program in children's television.
