MY LITTLE PONY: A VERY MINTY CHRISTMAS

In Ponyville the 'Here Comes Christmas Candy Cane' is very important because it is a beacon that shows Santa Claus the way to town. When it is accidentally broken by Minty it seems as if Ponyville might just not receive a visit from the jolly old Santa Claus.  Minty is determined to save Christmas for all of her friends, no matter what it takes.  While her friends set out to help Minty cheer up and get back in the holiday spirit.  They learn something far beyond what they would have though. Christmas comes in different forms no matter if it's love from friends or even from a clumsy minty-green pony!

The story within the movie teaches children a great value. The importance of friendship and that Christmas is not just about one thing or another. The most important thing during Christmas is the importance of love, friendship, and sharing. I always appreciate cartoons that share positive lessons and this definitely fits that category.  It was actually first released in 2005, making it the first film to be released by Shout!
