I use to scrapbook. I spent so much time and money shopping for stickers, frames, the perfect paper, embelishments, ect. That was until I came across photo books, and I have been hooked ever since. I have worked with many photo book sites, but MixBook continues to be one of my top favorites! This is due to their ease of use, thanks to their powerful software technology.
If you are familiar with photo books then you know many photo book sites will let you choose to either create your very own or use a template.And you probably also know that creating your own takes a lot more time. So I will say this, for all of you who have patience, it is best to create your own, but for all of you who don't have the time or patience it is best to use a template. I however, wanted my book to be extra special so I decided to create my own from scratch. I chose every layout, photo placement, sticker, background, text, ect. Sure, it was a lot of work, but it sure paid of in the end!
Creating the book was actually a lot of fun. I enjoyed selecting various backgrounds, photo arrangements, stickers, and everything else. I have used many photo book sites in the past, but this one proves to be the easiest to use, which is a huge plus. Plus, all of my work is saved as I go so I never have to redo the book, even if my computer freezes up on me. Since the book was mine to create as I wanted, I decided to go with a 2013 themed book which featured photos from our best memories of 2013. I am sure we will be looking back at this book for many years to come, and it will sure help us keep the memories in our hearts.
