In my attempt to becoming more healthy this year, I am being much more selective when it comes to what I eat. Typically, it's hard to find food in the frozen aisle that is healthy to eat, which is why I was excited to find a burrito and quesadilla company that offers some of the "Cleanest" labels you can find in your frozen food section. I received four coupons in order to purchase some burritos for my review. I started by using their store locator to find a store in my area and I was happy to find that a local Whole Foods Store, which happens to be very close to my house. I picked up a couple different items from the RED'S brand including a Chicken & Cheese Burrito and Steak Quesadilla. Let me first say that I love the fact that they use Brown Rice in their recipe. I have switched from white rice to brown rice, so I was quite happy about that. Overall, I was very impressed with the flavor and the fact that they are so healthy.

ReplyDeleteI love Burritos and Quesadillas. I have never tried this brand but will see which stores carry it in my area and pick up a couple of packages. There is a Whole Foods, just not all that near me but if all else fails--to Whole Foods I'll go.

ReplyDeleteUsually I avoid frozen food, but I am going to check these burritos, especially when they brown rice. It's always nice to have a healthy option in the freezer section of a grocery store.
