Over Flowing with Fizz...

The The Fizz site sells a creative and unique product called the Fizz Cup.  Basically,  a Fizz Cup is a reusable cup,  that you fill with ice cream and then twist on to your favorite soda,  to enjoy your very own ice cream float!  You may not know this but  there is more to Root Beer Floats than just the flavor.  The tiny bubbles of air  that are found in soda,  cause the ice cream to float and are nucleation sites for the formation of large bubbles of carbon dioxide.

The creator of The Fizz, David Chodosh,  created the cup as a way to put a fun spin on the traditional Ice cream Float.  He has more than 18 years of design experience in toys and housewares, and has created new products for many well known brands and companies.  The Fizz cup is easy to use and creates lots of fun for children and adults of all ages!  I loved the idea of the Fizz Cup and loved it even more when i tried it out.  I also had my seven year old son and my 60 something  year old mother try it out.

It was very easy to set up.  First,  we filled the cup up with ice cream, snapped on the lid,  and pushed the straw through the hole in the cup.  Secondly,  we twisted the cup onto a bottle of our favorite soda...Pepsi!  For the third step we slowly squeezed the bottle to mix the fizz.  For the final step we sipped the drink through the lid and repeated until the soda and ice cream were all gone!

The Fizz Cup truly proved to be a treat for my seven year old son!  My mother also enjoyed it and she is in her 60's,  so I guess from the young to the old,  it is great for all ages.   While we used Pepsi,  you can use whatever flavored soda you may wish.  Here are some great ideas that I got from their site:
  • Black Cow-    Vanilla Ice Cream,  Root Beer & Chocolate Syrup.
  • Brown Cow-  Chocolate Ice Cream & Root Beer.
  • Purple Cow-  Vanilla Ice Cream & Grape Soda.
  • Sherbet Cooler- Orange or Rainbow Sherbet & 7-UP or Seltzer Water.
  • Coke Float-        Vanilla Ice Cream & Coca -Cola.
  • Boston Cooler-   Vanilla Ice Cream & Ginger Ale, Blended.
  • Snow White-       Vanilla Ice Cream & 7-UP,  Sprite,  or Sierra Mist.
  • Beer Float-          Vanilla Ice Cream & Real Beer.(For ages 21+).
Fizz cups are sold in a set of 4 for $7.99 or 20 for $21.99.  Fizz Cups would make a perfect part and at the same time each child could go home with their own Fizz Cup Favor,  so in all actuality- they are like a party and a favor all in one!

*Disclaimer-  Fizz Cup kindly provided me with a product to possibly review.
In no way did this alter my opinion of their products.  All of my opinions are one hundred percent honest and true.*
