Summer is almost here, so break out the tea and refresh your tastebuds! I love me some tea- Sweet Tea, Sun Tea, Flavored Tea, Hot Tea, Cold Tea, just about all types of tea, so I was excited to recieve samples of Lipton Tea. I would love to introduce you to 100% Natural Lipton Tea available in six exciting flavors: Diet Green Tea with Citrus, Green Tea with Citrus flavor, Iced Tea with Lemon, and Two new flavors: Iced Tea with Pomegranate Blueberry and Green Tea with Passionfruit Mango. They have also expanded their Diet line by introducing Diet Green Tea Watermelon.
Lipton Tea sent me two bottles each of the following flavors: Green Tea with Citrus flavor, Green Tea with Passionfruit Mango, and Diet Green Tea Watermelon. First of all, let me say that I love the fact that they are 100% Natural, as even my children can drink them! All of the flavors have a very light mello flavor that I really enjoy. My overall favorite flavor is the Green Tea with Passionfruit Mango, due to it's fruity taste. The Mango and Passionfruit flavors blend very well with the green tea, to make a perfect mix of flavors!
I am also very fond of the Green Tea with Citrus flavor , as it is light (yet tasty), with a refreshing hint of citrus added. I was weary to try the watermelon tea, due to the fact that I am usually not a fan of watermelon flavored tea, but it was actually pretty good for diet. I did not have the opportunity to try the Pomegranate Blueberry flavor, but as soon as I do, I believe it will be one of my favorites! They do not contain any perservatives, artificial colors or flavors, and they are made with real sugar and natural flavors. Each bottle of 100% All Natural Lipton Tea contains only 50-70 calories per serving, depending upon the flavor. The Diet Lipton Tea has absolutely no calories and 0 grams of sugar
I placed my Lipton's 100% Natural Tea in the freezer for about half and hour before consuming it to get it nice and icy. The tea left a surprisingly pleasant aftertaste im my mouth. Lipton 100% Natural Tea is the perfect treat for hot summer months! They come in 20 ounce bottles and retail for $.99 to $1.59. . To celebrate their new line of teas, and national iced tea day, Lipton is treating tea drinkers to unplugged music programing! Be sure to check out "The Natural Side of Music" online videos featuring cuts and conversations with music artists. Stay tuned to Facebook.com/LiptonIcedTea.
Lipton Tea is also offering some really great free recipes. The Pina Tea-La Da looks so refreshing and tasry. I think I may have to try it out soon! The recipe is listed below if you would like to try it out too!
Pina Tea-La Da
- 1 Bottle Lipton 100% Natural Iced Tea with Lemon
- 1/2 Cup Pineapple Juice
- 1/4 Cup Cream of Coconut
Process all ingredients in blender until smooth. Serve in ice-filled glasses and garnish, if desired, with fresh pineapple wedges. When I make this recipe I think I will also try garnishing it with cherries, for an added touch of flavor. If you would like to add alchol to this drink, light rum would go perfectly in this recipe. This recipe serves 3 and only takes 5 minutes prep time.
*Disclaimer- Lipton Tea provided me with free samples to review. In no way did this alter my opinon of their products. All of my opinions are one hundred percent honest and true.*
