It all starts out when a presidents dog unintentionally gets left behind at a dedication ceremony. The First Dog gets lost, and is then found by a loving young boy named Danny(John-Paul Howard). Soon Danny realizes that the dog isn't just any old dog, it is actually belongs to the president! nobody believes that the dog belongs to the president, but the boy believes returning the dog to the president is "The right thing to do". The little boy lives in a foster home, but soon decides to run away from home, and set out on a brave mission to return the dog to the rightful owner-the president!
The young boy sets out on an exciting journey across America to deliver the dog back to the White House. Eric Roberts, Tiny Lister, and John-Paul Howard all star in this highly entertaining movie. With a great cast of characters, and a incredible story line, this movie will warm your hearts and inspire you. Throughout the film you will hear original music from the one and only...Dolly Pardon! This fantastic family film is suitable for the entire family and makes a perfect movie for movie night. Not only you will enjoy it, but so will the kids! I popped up some popcorn, and we snacked on candy, while cuddled up in blankets watching this fun and entertaining movie. This refreshing movie included great morals, and was emotionally rich and wholesome from start to finish! If you own a dog, you will especially appreciate this movie, and it may even bring a few tears to your eyes!
