Tenzi Game Giveaway

TENZI

If your the type of person that doesnt like to read a long list of instructions when playing a game then I have the perfect game for you.  Tenzi is a brand new game that is somewhat similar to Yatzee,  only a lot more easier.  Even though the game is extrememly simple it is still extremely fun too!

If your family is anthing like mine, you have family game days where the kids play games and the adults join in on the fun too!  Tenzi is a fun game that can be played by both,  and does not require very much comprehension, so even those that have a little bit of trouble understanding game rules will not have the slightest bit of trouble understanding the rules to this fun game.  This comes in particularly handy for my seven year old son who sometimes gets frustrated with rules that go on and on.  The rules to Tenzi is extremely simple,  short but sweet!

Watch the above You Tube video and it will give you a basic understanding of how the game should be played.

  • Tenzi can be played with 2 - 4 players.
  • The game consists of 40 dice.  A set of ten dice in a different color for each player.
  • Each player will choose which color s/he would like to be.
  • Each player grabs all ten dice in their hands and then one player shouts "go",  and everyone rolls at the same time.
  • After you quickly roll the dice you choose which number you are going to go for.  This should be the number you have the most of.  For example if you have more fives you should take out the fives and coninue to roll more 5's.
  • You do not have to wait for the others to roll at the same time as you, that only happens on the initial roll.  Continue rolling your dice until all your dice reads the same number and then shout out "Tenzi".
  • The first person that rolls all their dice the same number and shouts "Tenzi" wins the game!

Besides this way there are plenty of other fun ways to play Tenzi too,  including: Tenzi Tower,  Splitzi,  Team Tenzi,  Mega Tenzi,  Stealzi,  Target Tenzi,  Timed Tenzi,  and Twisted Tenzi.  My husband and I had a blast competing against each other on a race against time against each other!  I tend to like to be the white dice so I can see the numbers easier because once I start rolling the dice I really get on a roll.  I finally found a game that I can win,  and I found it in Tenzi!  This makes an excellent addition to our family game collection and I recomend it for any family or even couple!

BUY IT:  You can purchase Tenzi for only $15.99 on their site,  or on Amazon.com.

*Disclaimer - Tenzi provided me with the item mentioned above,  free of charge,  for review purposes.  In no way did this alter my opinon of their products.  All of my opinons are one hundred percent honest and true.*

That's right! It is a super fast paced game, and a lot of fun. It is somewhat similiar to Yatzee in the aspect that you have to roll all of the same number.

I learned another version is called...
    STEALZI:
If you see another player roll the number you’re going for, steal those dice and give the player an equal number of your dice. No stealing on the first roll of the game, or from any player going for the same number as you!

And just in case you’re wondering, the odds of getting all ten dice to land on one number in one roll are 10,077,697 to 1.

    Hmm?

I also learned that the odds of getting all ten dice to land on one number in one roll are 10,077,697 to 1. That is very interesting! Additionally, the game Target Tenzi has everyone either set a number before rolling or have everyone go for the same number. I think this would be great for younger kids! Thanks!
