Shabby Apple

When I think of Cameos it always reminds me of my late grandmother.  I vividly remember her always sporting some type of cameo,  whether it was a broach or a necklace.  Awe,  how cameos remind me of her sweet presence!  My mother is also quite fond of Cameos and that is why I decided to review one of Shabby Apple's  beautiful Cameo inspired pieces of jewelry.

Before I begin to tell you about the elegant cameo,  let me first tell you a bit about  They are a very fashionable company that offers trendy apparel including Vintage DressesWomen's Jewelery and Accesories,  Arts & Crafts,  and Children's Apparel.  While shopping on their site you will notice that their selection of products is full of femininity and elegance,  something a lot of sites are lacking in these times.  Shabby Apple is all about women,  and because they care,  they devote a certain amount of their net proceeds to charitable causes supporting women and children.  I always love when a company gives back because it shows they truly do care!

Shabby Apple was kind enough to provide me a Black Cameo Necklace to review,  and is sponsoring my giveaway , so that one of my lucky readers will have a chance to win one,  as well.  In case your not familiar with Cameos,  let me fill you in.  Cameos are inspired by the elegance of the Victorian Era.  They make a great way to add a touch of yesteryear to any outfit.  The history of Cameos go back in time for many years,  and has been worn by many great royalty.

When I received The Duchess Black Cameo Necklace,  it looked just as it did on the site,  maybe even better!  When viewing it on their website they give you a close  up view and a image of someone wearing it, so you really get a good perspective on what it will look like when your wearing it.  They also give you the option of zooming in on the object and magnifying it, so you get an extra up close view before you order it.  This stunning necklace features a Vintage style Cameo with a gold metal setting,  that hangs from an 24" long chain.  The Duchess Black Cameo Necklace is handmade in the USA.  Soon my Mother's Birthday will be here so I have decided to suprise her with it on her birthday.  I am sure she will be just as thrilled receiving it as I am giving it to her!

They also offer a fabulous selection of other great jewelery too.  Below,  you will find some of my favorite peices found on
