Bombay Fashions Review + Giveaway

I received some pieces from their Bombay Fashion collection to review.  Their Bombay collection includes Bollywood & Kunden jewelry,  tunics,  and skirts.  I received both a bangle set and a pair of earrings to review.  The Catherine 5 pc bangle set is part of their fall/winter collection. The set is red and gold so it would go perfectly with any little red dress or even pair nicely with a red shirt with jeans.  


I also received a pair of earrings but my ears are very sensitive to anything other than gold so I was unable to wear them.  I passed them along to one of my husbands friends wife because I knew she would appreciate them and she was so excited to receive them!

I was lucky enough to get to select any Silver item on the NanoStyle site to review so I took a look around their site and came across very many appealing items,  but none as appealing to me as the "I Love You" in 120 Languages Pendant.  When I found out it's their best selling piece of jewelry it sure didn't surprise me at all because it's out of this world amazing!  When purchasing this pendant you have plenty of choices: the type of metal,  stone color, and even which chain you would like it to hang from!  

The necklace arrived in perfect condition and the first thing that I noticed was how absolutely gorgeous it was! I love the big eye catching pink cubic zirconium pendant,  but what  I think  really makes it stand out is the beautiful inscription that is set in 24 karat gold,  which reads "I Love You" in 120 languages.  Now I know what your thinking,  how can they fit all that on one little necklace!  Well, they are all written in tiny writing so small you need a magnifying glass to make out the letters...good thing it came with a keychain with a mini magnifying glass attached!  

Now it came time for the fun part - finding the "I Love You" in English among all the other languages.  I placed the magnifying glass about 1" away from the pendant and right off the bat I spotted it.  It sat a tad bit below the bottom of the heart and looked somewhat larger than the other languages.  I also noticed that the small spot in the middle of the languages was actually a tiny heart!  This is probably the most unique piece of jewelry I have every owned in my life and I can't wait to start showing it off!  


Because this is such a precious piece of jewelry it is important you take good care of it.  The pendant should be cleaned using warm water and gentle materials.  After that be sure to wipe it gently with a soft cloth.  It is important that you do not apply any strong materials while wearing the jewelry.  And when I say strong materials I mean perfume, hair spray, ect.  I really like the fact that I can wear it while showering so I don't have to worry about taking it off then putting it back on.

2011 Holiday Gift Guide - Kathy Bransfield Jewelry

Kathy Bransfield Jewelry agreed to send me an item to review but didnt let me know exactly which item they were going to send me so when the item finally arrived I was super excited to see exactly what it was that they sent.  When I removed the lid from the flat square box I beautiful necklace was revealed underneath.  I was especially excited when I saw the necklace was made specifically for a mother and at first I thought I would keep it for myself since I'm a mother myself but then my mom crossed my mind and I knew exactly who the necklace would soon belong to!  I havent yet givin it to her because I am waiting till Christmas to give it to her.  The necklace was so special I decided that it would be better if I gave it to her for a gift because I know it will touch her heart.

The My Mother necklace by Kathy Bransfield Jewelry features a shape similar to a leaf in silver with a complimenting gold shape that perfectly fits over it.  The pieces read "My Friend My Inspiration My Mother" and hangs on an 18 inch snake chain.  Now,  if that doesn't sum it all up,  I don't know what does!  Well atleast if your mother is anything like mine anyways!

Shabby Apple

When I think of Cameos it always reminds me of my late grandmother.  I vividly remember her always sporting some type of cameo,  whether it was a broach or a necklace.  Awe,  how cameos remind me of her sweet presence!  My mother is also quite fond of Cameos and that is why I decided to review one of Shabby Apple's  beautiful Cameo inspired pieces of jewelry.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE!

This year is one of my favorite Valentines Days ever!  This month my husband and I are celebrating our 9th Valentines Day together!  On Saturday my husband surprised me with a early Valentine's Day Gift from Zales!  Curious to know what it is?  I was and as soon as I saw the little silver box I knew exactly what it was...a Brand New Wedding Ring! 

It is a half carat diamond ring and it is super sparkly!  I have been wearing one of my older rings that he bought me as I can no longer fit my original Wedding Ring,  which was actually purchased off of my sister in law,  when we first married.  At the time we were broke and it was all we could afford!  Now I'm happy to have such a pretty little ring that fits my finger perfectly!  Check it out Here.   This ring is special to me because he picked it out himself!

My hubby is sick and staying home from work today so I think I will make him a nice dinner tonight and watch a movie together or something.  Not only is my hubby sick but my oldest is staying home from school sick too,  not to mention both of my babies are sick!  You know what the means...no babysitter!  That means we wont be going out for Valentine's Day this year!  Oh well,  there will be plenty more to go out on!
