2011 Holiday Gift Guide Day 6- Gourmet Gift Baskets

Whats the one thing you can get someone for Christmas that you know they will like,  no matter who the recipient is ?  Don't know?  It's a gift basket,  and if they are lucky - A gift basket from Gourmet Gift Baskets!  Luckily,    just in time for the holidays they are offering Christmas themed gift baskets that will be sure to please anyone on your list.  In deed,  I was lucky enough to receive the Christmas Gift Basket Classic™,  which is just one of many of the Christmas themed gift baskets that they offer.

Here are just a few ideas of some excellent choices for gift basket gifts for this holiday season!

This gift basket sweet gift basket comes with a sweet price too! You can purchase this gift basket for less than $25.00.  It would make a perfect gift for a gift exchange,  gift for a neighbor, coworker, or even your boss!

This festive gift basket yummy treats such as Dark Chocolate Dipped Rasberry Sticks by Sweets Candy Co. and Old Fashioned Holiday Bark by Barton's. You can purchase this lovely gift basket for $39.99.

This deluxe gift basket comes packed full of twenty different gourmet items including enough sweets and snacks to satisfy anyones needs!  You can purchase this gift basket for $99.99.

Now back to the gift basket I received to review - The Christmas Gift Basket Classic.  It arrived ready to give,  wrapped with a big festively colored bow around it. As I anxiously peeked through the clear cellophane wrapping I saw a bunch of goodies staring back at me!  The first thing that caught my eye was the Chocolate Covered Cherries by Marich.  I mean who could resist gourmet chocolate covered cherries- definitely not me!  Besides the cherries The Christmas Gift Basket Classic also offered a variety of nine other gourmet goodies.

The Christmas Gift Basket Classic Includes:
  •  Almond Pecan-dy Crunch by Morley Candy Makers
  • Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies by J&M Foods
  •  Dipping Pretzels by East Shore Specialty Foods
  •  Robert Rothschild Farm Raspberry Honey Mustard Pretzel Dip
  •  Salted Peanuts in Box by Feridie's
  •  Signature Dark Chocolate Bar by Lake Champlain
  •  Buttered Peanut Crunch by Old Dominion Peanut Company
  •  Metropolitan Trail Mix by GourmetGiftBaskets.com
  •  Parmesan Artichoke & Garlic Cheese Biscuits by Salem Baking Company
  •  Chocolate Covered Cherries by Marich

Although I was quite pleased with all the items,  My overall favorites have to be the Chocolate Covered Cherries,  Almond Pecan-dy Crunch and the Signature Dark Chocolate Bar.  I would have to say my least favorite was the Parmesean Artichoke & Garlic Cheese Biscuits,  but I am not too much of a fan of Garlic,  so that may have played part in that.  The Buttered Peanut Crunch by Old Dominion Peanut Company makes a perfect snack to crunch on while watching movies,  as I discovered while recently watching Return of the Planet of the Apes on DVD. My children went crazy over the Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies,  as they were gone within the first day of opening them.

Overall,  I was very pleased with the Christmas Gift Basket Classic,  and think it would make a great gift for just about anyone(minus children and babies), of course!  The gift basket would make a perfect gift for that hard to buy for person on your list,  or even to give to an entire family such as neighbors, or friends.  My aunts family is huge,  so if I were to buy something like this for them it would save me a bunch!  No matter who you purchase it for I am sure they will be quite delighted with this fabulous gift basket.
