Our Thoughts:
As soon as I found out this film was coming to Blu-ray I was super excited as I am very interested in films that are based on history. My grandfather use to tell me a lot of stories and experiences about Pearl Harbor, so it really makes me wish he was still around to watch it with me.
Because this movie is full of action I knew my husband would love to watch it with me because he LOVES action packed films such as this one! With excellent special effects, and amazing sound, it's no wonder why this film received the 1970 Academy Award® for Best Special Effects! The movie really looked at both perspectives- the American and the Japenese versions of the war. The Blu-ray disc also included a mini hardback Pearl Harbor book that was very interesting to read.
If you are a history lover and a lover of action movies then you definitely don't want to miss out on this movie!

This movie mad an impact on me when I was very young and it is still one that I think I will remember for the rest of my life. Part because my grandmother talked about that day and part because I was a health care aid for a man that was there that day.
