Savor Sweets Review + Giveaway

Are you tired of the same old lollipop flavors and looking to try something truly unique?  Then look no further because Savor Sweets offers suckers in a variety of uncommon flavors that you are sure to enjoy,  atleast i did any way!  They make small batches by hand to create some of the most unforgettable suckers you have ever tried.

The thing that stands out most about their products is by far their uniquness!  In search of a different flavor that is out of the ordinary?  Guess what,  they can also customize flavors for you so you might just want to look into that as well.

They offer the following flavors:

  • Black Tea
  • Espresso
  • Basil
  • Chai Tea
  • Balsamic
  • Pink Peppercorn
  • Spicy Habenero
  • Fresh Mint
  • Spiced Honey Baklava
  • Tiger's Ear Vanilla Cinnamon
  • Pomegranate & Lemon
  • Caramel with Seasalt
I am sure you can tell by the above description how uniquely different their selection of flavors are. And if you think their flavors are unique I have news for you their packaging is just as unique!   They are wrapped in packaging made out of recycled paper printed with soy ink,  biocompostable cellophane bags, and organic compostable ribbon made in the US.  When you finish your sucker you can toss it in your compost pile or yard waste bin,  how cool is that!  The suckers are all shaped like a tulip and vary in color depending on their flavor. I found it interesting that many of their flavors contain only three ingredients.

I was very excited to try the Baklava flavor because my late grandmother was Greek and use to make Baklava.  It has been many years since she passed and I figured the Baklava flavor might just spark some fond memories of the past.  Both my husband,  son,  and I all tried it.  My husband thought it tasted like spiced honey,  but since I knew what it was and was familiar with the taste of Baklava I immediatly was able to make out the Baklava flavor.

Second on the list was the Caramel with Seasalt.  It tasted very sweet as it had a very distinctive carmel flavor with the slightest hint of salt.  Although I liked the Baklava flavor the Caramel with Seasalt flavor was my favorite.

Thirdly I selected to sample the Espresso flavor because what can I say,  I am a coffee fanatic!  The flavor was also very distinctive and very raw tasting.  It left a lingering espresso flavor in my mouth.  I enjoyed the dark espresso flavor.

I would probably try Tiger's Ear Vanilla Cinnamon. The flavor I would like for them to come out with would probably be a dark chocolate caramel flavor.

the fresh mint sounds great, and maybe another fruit flavor would be good, or a sweet cinnamon!
